Best lil coffee house! Took a trip from downtown providence to explore Riverside and it was well worth the trip. Had a cold brew w a shot of mocha - excellent! No wonder they were voted best ice coffee in RI 2020. They had this overnight oats w apple cinnamon compote on top thing and it was hands down the best overnight oats I’ve had!
Ate outdoors in their cute outdoor patio. Free wifi and filtered water. Great ambiance, nice staff. Aces!

Borealis: first and foremost they care about coffee. Their outdoor seating is lovely and right along the bike path. Service is always consistent. It's where we get our beans.

A small coffee house on Bullocks Point Avenue in the Riverside section of East Providence. It borders the bike path, and it has a small outdoor patio that is ideal for sitting and sipping with a friend during the good weather, or stopping after biking on bike path for a refreshing beverage. Their prices are a little higher than a chain Coffee shop, but the muffins are always fresh and delicious, and the coffee is some of the best around. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is inviting and, casual and relaxing.

This place is wonderful -- the best beans I've found in the Providence area thus far (and there is some pretty good competition...). The atmosphere and snacks were also fantastic, not to mention the service! Highly recommended!

I come here for my coffee beans, which they source and then roasted locally. I love their coffee and their specialty drinks. Great pastry, too. They staff is very nice. Today I met a man in line and we chatted about Sicily for a half hour after ordering. It is that kind of a friendly place.

Always great drinks here - lots of lovely chai latte and matcha action as well as interesting drink specials and a good range of proper coffees that they roast in house. Good cakes, bars, and savoury treats too. Well worth a visit.

Had to fly to Rhode Island for this coffee specifically to get my hands on the “Sam Hyde.” When I asked politely for the Sam Hyde, they immediately dropped every other order that was in front of me and started working on mine. I was very surprised by the fast, yet very precise making of this coffee drink. They had it ready for me, I took one sip and felt very powerful. Words can’t describe what I was feeling after I took a drink of that “Sam Hyde” but I’ll tell you right now at that very moment I was able to Think it, Dream it, and do it.

Fantastic find on my bike ride from Providence on a late fall afternoon. With the bike path literally right behind this cafe that was once a train depot. Plenty of drink specials that the friendly baristas are eager to make. Light snacks perfect for refueling for more riding. Relaxed and welcoming inside as well as outdoor seating. Come and enjoy!

Excellent customer service, very friendly and great coffee. I was looking for good quality coffee like this for years. My wife and I drive 20 miles to drink a real coffee cups and enjoy that peaceful place, we find very interesting place, decoration (old fashioned) old pictures, pictures on the wall with information about what the place was like and the city before. You can actually enjoy the coffee, use board games, enjoy the place and have a good time even with free high-speed wifi, if you're someone who likes to enjoy the outdoors, with good weather you can use their tables and chairs from outside.

Very good coffee (strength and temperature to my liking).
There is a little parking lot next to the building so it’s easy to park your car and get you coffee to go.
Maybe this is an American thing, but I asked for Flat White to which they said, ok, and then when they were handing over the coffee to me they clearly said, enjoy your Latte. This happened to me in other coffee shops too - never the less, I enjoyed the coffee. (I know Flat White wasn’t on the board)
