Best coffee in Newport. Great food, music, atmosphere. I wish there were more nooks and places to plug in and work, but this place has more of a social atmosphere which is nice too.

This place is one of the absolute best I’ve ever experienced. Such a cute quaint little spot, friendly staff, coffee is literally perfect. 10/10.

Just checked out the new Nitro Bar today. All I can say is “go now!” Everything was fantastic and the coffee specials were unique & delightful. The vegan breakfast options were top notch (not a chef’s afterthought). Highly recommended!

The vibes and ambiance of Nitro are 100% on point. The space is beautifully lit, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food and coffee are the best in town. I love the big open air windows and the long bench for seating.

Perfect spot for a coffee with friends, a Saturday morning fuel session, or even a date. Their late night scene is like walking into a dreamy European café.

Can I say enough good things about Nitro Bar?! I don’t think so!! Ever since finding them in Providence, I’ve been a staunch supporter. It’s one of my top Rhode Island suggestions. When I heard they would have an expanded cafe at this new location, I was heavily interested and wow! They knocked it out of the park. An interesting menu executed just like I would expect. 10/10. Love it!

Great experience! I had the egg sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon. The bacon was extra crispy and the house made English muffin was super yummy. The nitro chai was an in house blend with a lot of good spices. A bit pricey, but it is on Thames Street in Newport. Order was taken quickly and food came out expeditiously.

my favorite coffee spot with a new location right in the center of town! they have the most unique flavored coffees (the dirty chata - nitro cold brew with horchata and cinnamon on top - is my favorite) and their breakfast sandwiches are also amazing! Super nice staff and always the best atmosphere :)

BEST dirty chai latte Ive ever had. Also BEST banana split cheesecake dessert special Ive ever had!! Also best english muffin Ive ever had!?? I’ve been going to nitro with my friends since they opened in the bicycle shop in providence. Consistently stellar food and drink and vibes all around.

Can I just say, a place like this, open late with delicious dessert and coffee and an airy, eclectic, European atmosphere has been LONG overdue in newport. Not to mention the staff is friendly and the regular food is also delicious, and its a lovely spot to sit in the daytime and have a fresh meal and read a book.

It’s definitely one of those places where you can’t order anything bad. I am so so happy they are here!

A true staple in our weekend (and occasional weekday) morning routine. Nitro’s coffee is out of this world. Iced maple bourbon with oat milk is where it’s at for me and my husband Matt has not once strayed away from their nitro cold brew black—it’s just that good.. plus their food! we’re always trying new things. But even better is there staff, shout out to the PVD location! The owners of this shop are so hard-working, so creative and always coming up with new seasonal ideas and specials + their story of starting out as a literal coffee cart is quite the inspiration in itself. If you’re visiting from out of state or a local that hasn’t gotten around to stopping in, I highly recommend giving this coffee shop a try. It’s a 100/10 for me.

Went on my first day in town and returned at least daily after that. The nitro is best iced coffee I’ve ever had. And a year-round iced coffee drinker.
