The Nitro Bar

2nd worst espresso ever tasted. It takes a lot for me not to drink my coffee, but the favor was disgusting. We also ordered a slice of banana bread, which was terribly rubbery(perhaps gluten-free?). This was so bad, even my husband didn't eat or drink either.

Came here every morning during our long weekend in Newport! Very good coffee, interesting food menu and delicious baked goods too. Very clean and bright, and friendly staff. And the pricing was fair! Highly recommend.

There are so many great-looking coffee places in Newport and we were not sure which to visit during our short trip. I am SO happy we decided on Nitro Bar. I got the Nitro Mocha Oat Latte which was phenomenal; the flavor was so smooth, subtle, and delicious. My partner got the matcha latte which he stated was the best matcha latte he has ever had: “smooth, lightly sweet, very refreshing, and didn’t have the bitter earthy taste that matcha typically has.” We also had scrumptious cookies (a vegan chocolate chip and a Reese’s peanut butter cookie). I am hoping to come back to Newport soon so we can come back to Nitro Bar!!!

The coffee here is very good and they have a good variety of healthy bite to eat.
