Ordered hot chocolate and requested that it be made extra strong with only about a third of the milk that is ordinarily used. The request was pretty much ignored - usual milky fare, and it was barely warm. Wound up throwing it away. Service was friendly, and nice view.
For the longest time I’ve been waiting for a good coffee shop in this spot with affordable prices. That spot has so much potential and for the longest time never lived up to it. Springline is the perfect shop for that area, with easy in and out access, amazing coffee, and beyond affordable prices. Highly recommended!
This is easily my favorite coffee shop on the marina! Amazing quality, fair prices, and filled with people friendly enough to make me want to come back! I appreciate the vegetarian and vegan snacks and quick service to boot!
Nice little informal coffee stand with 4 covered tables overlooking water. Reasonably priced considering tourist area ($4 iced coffee) . Tasty prepackaged sandwiches available .
Springline Coffee is hands down the best coffee I've ever had! Stopped in at the the Springline Cafe at Bannisters Wharf, Newport, as I was strolling through town & the cafe is spot on with their coffee. I was impressed with the variety of coffee & food, along with bags of coffee, cups & Springline gear. All this & more in a quaint little shop overlooking Newport harbor. For me, I grabbed an iced coffee & a donut - which was amazing - & started my way back to my boat. Before I reached the end of the dock, I turned around to buy a bag of the Bannisters Wharf blend. This coffee was far too delicious to only have one! My days now start with the Bannisters Wharf blend & get me up & out in the morning. I also purchased the Springline Signature Blend from their website. If you’re in Newport, or just looking for that full flavored coffee you’ve been searching for, look no further than Springline Coffee…you will be pleasantly surprised!
If you enjoy over-roasted, bitter coffee that is similar to Starbucks, this is the place for you. A disappointing $4 cup of coffee in my humble opinion. But I do have a conical burr grinder and make pour-over every morning at home using light or medium roasted beans with only one or sometimes two cracks in them (most Americans have no idea what that means haha).. so my standards are higher than most others

Good coffee, food and pastries at the end of the pier, with deck seating to watch boats and people.

The end of the dock walk, but worth the walk. Great coffee and great seating area over the water.
