August 2022: Stayed in Newport for three nights. Once I found this place after the second night, I always came back here for my coffee ☕. I normally like a pour over coffee but it's hard to find places that offer it. So Springline's drip coffee was a good alternative.
Also tried their donuts each day. Both days, I was very pleased with my coffee and donuts!
Would definitely come back again for more delicious coffee ☕ and donut 🍩!
A hidden gem at the end of Bannister Wharf. Newports own coffee served. A very friendly staff. They Won the micro Business awarding Newport and well deserved. They have there own Muffins ( you have to try the French Toast) and healthy fruit cups and salads. Also some other local products, like rice crispy treats. Enjoy sipping your coffee at the water.
Such a cute little spot with incredible coffee. The crew working were unbelievably friendly and have fun recommendations for us to do while visiting. Highly recommend!!
Really disappointed, a young woman with brown hair was working behind the counter. It’s a Thursday at 4:28pm, she was serving some staff from next door and that’s when the first comment was overheard about “people coming in a half hour before close” She was incredibly rude and had a very bad attitude. I almost wanted to walk out without the coffee I ordered. She made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. Coming in as a customer just felt like a major inconvenience when we were simply ordering a coffee and croissant. Not to mention her obvious eye rolls and sour looks directed at me. While waiting for our order another customer also agreed the woman was very rude. We in no way mistreated this person, we know the restaurant business and how difficult the public can be. This was simply someone who did not want to do her job and made it very obvious. We definitely won’t be back.
Best coffee in Newport thus far. Springline opened a kiosk in the Brenton Hotel for Newport Winterfest in Feb '23 and it was the first time I tried their coffee. Excellent! Keep up the great work and wishing them years of success!
The morning service left much to be desired. The person taking our order acted bored but the barista was outstanding and the coffee was excellent. Go here for a quick cup on the run, and don’t talk to the staff, they can’t be bothered.

A cute little coffee spot right on the water. Very friendly service. Good coffee. They also have pastry, yoghurt, muesli and fresh fruit cups.

Stopped by this morning for a quick snack. Staff were very polite and inviting. Kids loved the donuts and wife loved the coffee. Nice place!

Nice cozy atmosphere with 4 covered tables overlooking water. The coffee is not bad.

A really nice location and a really good iced oat latte.
