Delicious coffee, one of the best in Puerto Rico. Excellent location and good atmosphere. Little selection of breakfasts in the week.

When it’s too early to take someone being bluntly rude to your face DO NOT COME HERE FOR BREAKFAST. The service is dry and rude. Pluss, MOST of the pictures that appear on the pin here in their place at OLD SAN JUAN are actually NOT in the menu, which was quite disappointing. The worst part was the sarcasm and mock from the cashier though.

I thought I had already tried the best best coffee in Italy, but nope, this place leaves all other coffee experiences short, great lattes, cappuccinos, macciatos. I tried to recreate the same taste at home with my nespresso and failed. If i lived in San Juan i would make this my morning stop.

The prices are a bit high for what you get. I had a macchiato, and it wasn't really anything special. The atmosphere is great and the outdoor seating overlooks the museum court. Baristas speak perfect English, and they do offer milk alternatives (soy, almond).

Amazing service, good hidden spot to escape the busy Old San Juan scene during the day. Sit down and enjoy a rich, roasted inside the store coffee.

We had the nicest server who helped me chose a lovely flavored iced tea. The kind of place you want to visit often if for no other reason than the vibe.

Don Ruiz is a must visit coffee shop in San Juan. Worth every penny & journey getting their. I grew up drinking coffee. My wife loves coffee and the coffee here was so good that we went 3x before returning to Fl. Its the best coffee we ever had! The sandwich with provolone, ham, pesto sauce was delicious and to top it off the warm guave cheese pastry made our journey perfect! I met the manager and he was very humble and friendly. The reviews don't lie. If you want to taste the best PR coffee this is the place. Park at the fort and hike 2 blocks. Coffee Heaven is their. Oh and the building takes you back in time. Amazing!

I had a cafe latte and an egg & cheese croissant and my daughter had the mini cinnamon rolls and quesitos (cheese turnovers) & a banana, all for only $10. Food was hot and delicious! Service was excellent and you get free glasses of ice water. We sat at the tables right in the plaza. Really cool old San Juan feel. Highly recommend.

Tucked away from the main streets, nice and quiet location to have a coffee. ☕️

We ate here the best sandwich (vegetarian with spinach and pesto) and mallorca con queso that we ever had. Fantastic food prepared to the last detail!
