Well balanced drinks every single time!
Nice to find a good coffee shop where they roast on site AND one needn't go into "downtown" Staunton. Well done!
I have visited this location only once, but I subscribe to their coffee service by mail and thus drink Crucible very regularly. They are one of the better (if not the best) roasters in the valley, consistently producing excellent results. I prefer lighter roasted, single origin coffees, and I've never been disappointed with the 15 or 20 I've had from Crucible over the years. The actual coffee shop is hip and roomy, with good outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. I was surprised how quick service was as well on a very busy Sunday morning. I am probably jaded by northern Virginia prices but the total of my bill was also far less than I was anticipating, which leads me to say they are very reasonably priced. I typically rate a coffee shop on how well they can make a simple latte, and this one was faultless. If we lived nearer to Staunton, I would be here all the time... As it is, I have to settle for the coffee by mail 🙂.
Fantastic locally roasted coffee. We especially love the single origin beans, and nice baked goods.
The honey-lavender latte was lovely.
Drinks are good. Novel espresso machine set up keys you see barista activity very well.
Good aesthetic. Love the garage door window that can open! Could have used some more seating.
Great local roasters! Tasty seasonal creations are always my favorites, and the staff is great.
Great coffee. Excellent macarons. Will definitely stop by again when I am in the area.
Pretty good cup of Joe. Nice area to walk around outside.
This coffee shop hit the flavor profile I’m used to right on the money. Good coffee but even better customer service. Just genuine and friendly staff. I found this spot during my stay in Staunton and it didn’t disappoint. Don’t forget to try a morning bun. Delicious
Our favorite coffee shop to stop at on our trips through town. Great tea and coffee, and some nice trails to walk nearby.
My Ethiopian pour over was great! And my wife had the currant tea and later also the Earl Grey. They were both delicious… our son got the iced matcha latte with vanilla. He said it was good altho the matcha was a bit weak. Overall we enjoyed our visit! Thank you!
Coffee was good. Got the mocha and some Merch as well. You can choose between a 12oz or the big boy 16oz. Got the latter, Spacious and Beautiful shop.
Never been to the shop but I have had the coffee. It's awesome. I'm all jacked up ready to climb Everest..wait I'm ready to take over the world! Ok that was just a pinky and the brain reference. Anyways just go there and drink some coffee. It's great.
Unbelievably solid. Goated coffee sauce, poggers, no cap, 💯💯💯🤩🦇🛹🦟😊😳☕☕☕🍷
Too noisy. Workers don't even try to be quiet. Sitting close and can hardly converse!
Best coffee in the county, hands down. A true coffee establishment.
My favorite local place to get coffee. The staff are helpful, friendly, and on top of their game. The coffee is delicious. Menu changes often but if they have the ability to go off-menu for specialty coffees, they happily will. I've always been glad I've gone here. :)
The pour over coffee was very good and they had a packaged baked good that was gluten free.
