This place is the real deal! Homemade deliciousness and locally roasted coffee including Recovery Roast from Afterglow Coffee Cooperative. Zach and his team of awesomeness are always ready to make hella good coffees and chat about cool things happening in the RVA and."Surrounding Counties" (yes I did!) This place ROCKS! And a sliding scale for food pricing!

I've had food here twice and tried a cappuccino here for the first time this morning. The vibe is perfect and the employees are so welcoming. I've been hoping for a local coffee shop in the west end so I could stop spending money at Starbucks before work and I can see this place being a perfect replacement and serious upgrade. The food is fresh and the servings are large enough to share with a friend or have two meals. Will definitely be back as much as finances allow 💖

Stopped in to get coffee and breakfast for my family. The kolaches and mini muffins had just come out the oven. The owners were excited to give me a full rundown of the elements in each. I got some of all of it, and they added a couple extra to the bag before handing it over, even a few pieces of candy having mentioned my kids. If you want a full Richmond experience with records playing, tattooed patrons, and good vibes, I recommend checking this place out.

My husband and I recently found this place and we are hooked. They have the most amazing chai! It’s exactly how my Mom would made it. Love all the food options. Take my money.

My wife and I stumbled upon this place looking for a good breakfast and coffee that wasn’t the Bucks. Was pleasantly surprised! Tasty food, great coffee, staff was great and super friendly. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again!

I don’t leave reviews often but I felt this place was SO good I had to say something. I don’t live in Richmond and was looking for a quick place to grab coffee and food for my drive home, and picked this place randomly. I ordered a dirty chai latte, grits with turkey bacon for breakfast and a lox bagel for lunch at work later. Let me tell you I devoured those grits before leaving the parking lot, and I don’t usually like grits! The presentation was beautiful for to-go food and it tastes amazing. I just had the lox bagel for lunch and I was super impressed with the quality of the food and the amount of veggies (multi-color tomatoes, onions, and I think spinach?) that they packed on there and it was still easy to eat and delicious! I can’t wait to come back to Richmond and try them again

Ordered take out via Uber Eats. My wife has celiacs and picky with cold coffee beverages. She loved her meal and iced latte. Overall Options were elevated/amazing and our order was suberb. Best bagel sandwich I’ve had since a visit to Boston years ago. Cheese grits are insanely delicious.

A hidden treasure in the west end. I only wish Surrounding Counties was closer to me so I could get in there more often for a cup of coffee and a snack.

First time here.. coffee is great.. orange juice, you must try it. So fresh and delicious.. food options are sooo good too. They also have sub Rosa bread based sandwiches 💜 They do have lamplighter coffee and Australian coffee version.. you can also buy coffee from here.. unique place and will come back again for sure.

Super indie coffee shop that’s a bit tight. From the decor to the merch to the music selection. The coffee was decent - the cold brew and latte were okay. The lox bagel was beautiful but extremely hard to eat. They have a pretty good good menu to pick from. I appreciate their attempt in an area that doesn’t really match their style.
