Quintessential local coffee shop, with food
What a cool little place! The lattes are excellent and their baked goods are outstanding too. The food’s great, but it’s the comfy little coffee shop vibe that brings me back.

Cortado was good. They use sour espresso which is not my favorite, but it was still nicely done.
The southwest breakfast wrap was delicious and great coffee too! Loved the atmosphere!
Heavenly cappuccino! This is one of the best cups of cappuccino I've ever had. The breakfast egg cheese on homemade biscuit was also ridiculously good!! We also tried the turkey reuben sandwich, and it was terrific. We ordered the Reuben sandwich two days in a row. I want to go back to VA just to eat at this place again. The staff was super friendly and low key. This is great spot for a cup of coffee or full a full meal/breakfast!
Asked for a mocha. He quoted me a price and then said “whoops, forgot to add the mocha” then quoted a higher price. No big deal. However, they forgot to add the mocha to my latte. Mocha must be hard to remember. This was my first visit here. Not a great first impression. Good news, my plain latte was actually decent. On the fence whether I should try this place again. Edit: Just went back. Explained to the lady at the counter that the last time I was here I got charged for mocha but got just a plain latte instead. She tried to explain that they use a dark chocolate as if I’ve never ordered mocha from anywhere before. Lol Didn’t offer to fix the issue in anyway. Still charged me the extra $1. Definitely has mocha this time but it’s not the best I’ve ever had. But then again it could be the customer service that left a bad taste in my mouth. Keep my $1 because it’ll be the last time I spend any here.

Great service, atmosphere, and drinks with great food
Such a wonderful experience. Staff are kind and quick, the food and drinks are delicious. Lots of seating and space with plugs for charging. Tons of great options including gluten-free and vegan. Awesome place to sit and stay awhile!

Love this place. Had a chicken salad wrap, black bean and corn salad and a decaf latte. It was all delicious!!
My Northside wrap and hot black tea were great. The only downside is the music, very dated.
I am a biscuit connoisseur. I’ve eaten all kinds of biscuits all over RVA but this one takes the cake. If you are looking for a legitimate southern biscuit sandwich this is the spot. Each bite was out of this world. Will most certainly be back.
Really good food, but definitely double check your pick up orders before you leave. Got bacon in our sandwich and we’re vegetarian. They said they would refund the order tho.
Much downsized .No table in back for meetings..that's is a shame..maybe set a time limit on it or sign up sheet..but very limited seating now.
Great place to get breakfast biscuits (always perfect consistency) and coffee! It's a relatively small place though, so you may have to wait a few minutes for a table to open up.
