Cute little coffee house, with some indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to coffee, they also serve wine, tea, and I believe snacks. Very lovely employees.
Hidden gem. Please try it, you will not be disappointed.
Just had an ice coffee here and it was great. Definitely recommend
Awesome coffee: Good vibes and fresh, natural food
Not a study friendly shop- too small, barely any outlets available, only 2 tables that are large enough to even set a laptop on. This is much more of a stop and go shop. It is cozy though I guess you can say. No restrooms. Very limited lounge space. All they offered extra-forced-healthy food options. All of the pastries were sold out basically so I was stuck ordering quirky food options. Examples include the ham and jam, apples and cheddar, oatmeal, apple and Brie, and bagels. I got a safe choice I thought: sausage and cheese sandwich, only for the sausage to be dry veggie-filled fake meat. Tasted horrible. Lots of vegetarian options though! The owners, a sweet couple, are the full time baristas. They have a large selection of coffees and teas, with all flavors made in house, which is very cool. It’s a cute, short-term date spot (under an hour), but not a good work study area at all. The coffee machine makes a terribly loud screeching noise when in use which really ruins the cozy, alternative, light vibe. Very disruptive. I did love the Decor and coffee guides and local art displayed on the walls. Hopefully I can try one of their diverse bottled wines offered here if I end up coming again.
I ordered a decaf latte, which I was informed after taking a few sips was made with chicory. I am pregnant, so it’s not safe for me to consume chicory. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand so I didn’t accidentally drink something that could be harmful to the baby, or waste $7 on a drink that I had to throw away.
We come up to Virginia from NC a few times a year and always look for coffee shops on the way. This place was so cute and tucked away. We ordered iced oat milk mocha and it was amazing. Their bagels are flavorful. Will stop by again on our way home again next time.
Awesome small business with friendly owners. I love stopping here for coffee and a ham & jam!
Such a cute coffee shop owned by a really lovely couple. My boyfriend and I are visiting Richmond, and we stopped in for breakfast. The cinnamon vanilla coffee is so good! Definitely recommend
Adorable coffee shop in downtown Richmond!! So many intriguing flavors to try and you can get beer and wine here too. Didn't get any of their food today but hopefully, next time.
I'm pretty obsessed with this place and frequent here more than I should admit. The owners are not only some of the friendliest people I've met but the attention to their perfectly curated menu and shop always has me wanting to come back. Also, they sell wine! I've gotten a couple bottles that the owners suggested and they were great.
Great menu and selection of coffees and teas, all hand crafted and made fresh. Highly recommend! Support local
A must go to coffee stop. Stopped here on our way back to NY, felt like I was back in Brooklyn (in the best way). Beautiful shop in front with prints from some local artists. Latte with oat and a splash of Bergamot syrup was one of the best lattes I’ve ever had- perfect. If you like Rosemary, get the sea salt rosemary bagel, it was absolutely delicious. Super nice shop, super friendly, generous people. Highly recommend.
This was such a cute little coffee place, and they were super nice! I got the vanilla cinnamon latte (or something like that) and it was SO good. They also have super cute knickknacks for sale!
Positive vibe, smooth and delicious latte. Thank you for both. 😁
One of my favorite Coffee Shops in the RVA. Excellent drinks and atmosphere.
Great coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Wish it opened at 8 during the legislative session.
These are good folks and I know that they try hard. They struggled and stayed open in the pandemic. Like all businesses, the owners and staff have mostly good days and an occasional bad one. Credit where credit is due; this is downtown Richmond's best and most conveniently located coffee shop, with good food, too.
I would personally give this specific coffee company a one star rating. I would rate it zero stars if I could. Beyond the fact that even the coffee itself wasn't very good the service was also terrible. The lady at the front was nothing but rude and passive aggressive to me and my friend. After she took my order to completely ignored the fact that my friend was standing right there and also wanted to order, keep in mind we were ordering the same drink. Once she finished making my drink, my friend then asked to order the same drink. After this happened, the lady gave my friend the most judgmental and appalling look, making my friend feel as if she had done something wrong by something as small as ordering a coffee.... after that it was around 4:00 and we were told to leave obviously because "she had to close up and lock the door". After that my friend and I decided to sit outside. Around ten minutes later a couple went up to the door thinking it was open. The man who also worked there opened the door and let them in.... I thought it was closed, and that's why we had to sit outside. Obviously we weren't welcome there, but other people were. Make it make sense babes. By the way the coffee was terrible.
Cool little coffee shop with local gifts and excellent coffee.
