I expected a better breakfast sandwich based on reviews. The sourdough was bland.

This was a great spot for some coffee and working from my laptop. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The bagels are made in-store, too!

Amazing food and service and conveniently located near James Madison University. This little coffee shop is one of those hidden gems that you like to keep to yourself, but I'll share cause it's that good. Hope you enjoy.

I'm sad to post this about one of my favorite cafes. But I want to share my experience as a long time customer. The quality of food used to be very good. The cinnamon rolls are of course still delicious and good. But the sandwiches have become subpar. The chicken in the spicy basil chicken and sesame ginger chicken wraps is often too thick and chewy to enjoy eating. Often times the chicken has been chunked inside the wrap in large pieces and tastes dry. And the amount of sauce on the wraps varies a lot. Sometimes I get enough, usually there isn't much. Tbh what really frustrated me today was everything being served in styrofoam containers. Usually it comes on a basket ready to eat. And today was the first day I've eaten in Cinnamon Bear with these containers. I'm unsure if we will come back as often because besides the cinnamon roll, I don't like much else on the menu. Especially since most of the breads now are brioche or bagel. Anyway I'm sad to see these changes in quality. I hope it gets better. But for now I'm not interested in eating here much.

I love Cinnamon Bear so much. the California sunrise breakfast sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. It’s a rly good vibe, short walk from my dorm on campus, and the perfect Sunday scaries cure. I love you cinnamon bear, I seriously love you so much. You are a diamond to me

Cozy spot with friendly service, great coffee, and one of the better cinnamon rolls I've had in quite awhile... probably an 8/10 👍🏼. Also their bagels are a bit better than Mr. J's in my opinion... they don't feel as greasy or salty. I'm sure for hungover college kids the grease and salt is nice but for a sober adult these are a better/more responsible option.

From the moment we walked in, we knew it would be a good morning! Friendly service, a delicious chai tea latte and and a warm, tasty cinnamon roll to share. Wait till you get to those last gooey bites in the middle! Nice find on our vacation right across from the JMU stadium. Enjoyed watching college students bringing a parent with them!

Great spot to grab a quick bite, especially for breakfast. This might be blasphemous to say but the bagel I had here may have surpassed Mr. J's... I know I know. I had the jalapeño cheddar bagel it was toasted to perfection and light and airy while still substantial. The cappuccino was very good as well. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
