I absolutely love this place!!! Try the lavender vanilla latte. I'm not a lavender girl, but it was so good. The breakfast burrito was beyond on point with really crunchy bacon,( which I truly enjoyed). It's so cute! The barista was extremely friendly. The atmosphere was just so chill. Plenty of tables for big groups, will 100% be back worth the drive.
Located inside the Big Ugly Brewing, my Iced French Vanilla latte (2-2) was really good & served by a super friendly barista! They had sold out of the Sausage Egg & Cheese biscuit, so I opted for the Carrot & Pineapple Muffin (heated). It was really moist & went well with my latte! Nice venue, so I will return earlier for my biscuit real soon! 😋😄
Taxus Street Coffee is exemplary! The owners are quality people and so is their coffee. Highly recommend!

Delicious coffee and the brewery is a really fun atmosphere. I had to grab three bags to take home for my daily brewing! It’s not the same as in the shop but it’s so much better than you can find anywhere else!
I really enjoyed the nitro cold brew. Definitely visit when Klassic donuts is there. The best combination!
JB spent an hour with my wife and I doing a coffee cupping which was a nice way to taste a variety of coffee and see a little deeper into the coffee world. We have been several times- the service is friendly and the coffee is good!
Visited for the 1st time just 2 weeks ago and I've been back a few times. The only disappointment is that I didn't come sooner.. im often not really satisfied with the coffee around here and I buy bags when traveling through Charlottesville! I can finally say that I've found a local spot to buy coffee from! It's fantastic 👏
I dig the simplicity of the coffee menu. What I ordered was executed well, not too sweet, and had the yummy roasted flavor I crave from coffee. Also the VW bus booth has the best vibe! 5/5 for a groovy atmosphere and really cool barista/bartender!
Coffee spot inside Big Ugly Brewery. Definitely feels very thrown together. Staff was really nice and trying their best. They were not busy and yet running or already out of items to make coffee drinks from not a very expansive menu. Handing someone a cold coffee drink and then only able to offer a coffee stir straw to drink it from does not feel like a polished operation. Cold latte had an off flavor that I could not put my finger on.. Also ordered a hot latte which was not to the level I would expect for paying Starbucks prices. It was less than average at best. Maybe I caught them on an off day but would not go out of my way to give them another try. Disappointed from this place as I love giving my money to local small business vice chains coffee shops. Needs a lot of work.
It’s basically a brewery w an expresso maker on a bar table. Came here for the nitro cold brew but they sold out..Got the iced americano..it was ok..then I waited in line for 30 min outside for Klassic donuts truck. Maybe 50-75 parking spaces paved and gravel..a lot of outdoor seating and tent..Indoor blows nice cold ac with plenty of seating area..Glad Battlefield blvd has something new around this dated area…I’ll try this place out again in the future

Friendly staff and amazing coffee!
This location is housed inside a former roadside grill. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They do an amazing job with specialty coffee drinks, and offer a variety of breakfast options. Don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations. I will definitely visit again.
