The coffee was very good and the staff was friendly. I went with 2 friends, it took longer than expected (about 25 min) to get our breakfast and coffee but it was fresh.
SUPER cute and eclectic inside! Has salons and other stores upstairs and the coffee/drinks/good downstairs. For a medium thirst quencher, medium brew, a small hot chocolate, and a large warmed chocolate muffins was less than $14! That's an amazing deal! Will definitely be back! Thank you for keeping your prices reasonable during times like these! 👍
It's a little known secret in the heart of great bridge, Chesapeake VA, without the big franchise hustle and bustle, your just another number in and out, here it's slow paced, a feeling of relaxation, comfort of home, they'll make you feel like family. I stumbled across it. Glad I did, have been coming back everyday ever since, definitely invite friends and family.
Neat place great coffee and Paninis. The staff super nice and helpful.
I had been meaning to check this place out for months now, but they're not open on my way to or from work. I had a rare moment out this past weekend and decided I would finally stop in. I was immediately reminded of small-town New England where I was born, raised, and recently moved from. The place is filled with items made by local artisans, cozy couches and chairs, coffee tables with several board games to choose from, books, etc. As I was ordering my coffee, the nice teenager at the counter told me a little bit about the shop and that they're a nonprofit that employs those with special needs, helping them to become more independent. As a mom with special needs kiddos, this is near and dear to my heart. I only wish they were open on my way to work so I could stop in and support them more, but I'll just have to be sure to visit on the weekends. If you get a chance, please stop in. The coffee was good, but I can't really speak to the food as I only had a muffin. The menu has some great items though- omelets, paninis and crepes. Yum!!!
The service was amazing, the place was sooooooo cute!! Relaxed. Lots of seating spread out and so if you wanted to sit in a quiet area they had different sections. The waitress bless her heart was keeping an older gentlemen who had special needs company. However I paid $25 for a hemp water, coffee and a sand which that came with a side. The side was potatoes that were over coated in salt and completely RAW and hard, the sandwich was literally worth maybe max 5$. When I showed them the raw potatoes they said sorry but there was no like hey let us cook them for you or let us refund you a few dollars or anything, which is ok I didn’t ask, but if it was my business I would have. The coffee was very good and probably some of the best coffee I have ever had.
This was my 1st time here. Super cute cafe with things for sale from local artists. We stopped in for a quick bit and got the Spaghetti Western Panini. We played checkers while we waited. (I was going to give 4 stars because it took a long time to get the food, but their recovery was good. It was a holiday so they were busier than usual. The solo employee working called in the owner for back up and things got moving quickly.) They also sell locally roasted coffee and local honey. I will definitely go back.
Enjoyed a day off wandering to local places. Loved the atmosphere. Coffee and Trailblazer panini were delicious. I sat and enjoyed a book while enjoying the delicious food.
I got an amazing almond milk latte this morning. I love that their large lattes are a true large.
Met a friend for coffee this morning. What a pleasant surprise.. The atmosphere is so comfortable you just can't help but want to take a book settle into a chair and read or chat..The coffee is great! And their menu is nice. The staff are SO friendly and service was prompt. I'm going to be spending many mornings there.
Plenty of coffee flavors. Will have to go back to try some more.
Found this gem while trying out new coffee spots around Chesapeake. Love the mission they support.
Great place to dine, shop, and work. Supports an awesome cause too.
The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent!
Such a beautiful atmosphere. I came here to get some work done while grabbing a bite to eat and I was so impressed. The food was wonderful and so far this was the best cup of coffee I've had in a while. Definitely recommend coming in.
Amazing coffee! Will definitely come by here again!
Tons of interesting and unusual items for home or gifting! Cool interior vibe with a Cafe and nail salon upstairs.
Nice quiet place to have coffee n pastries
A cute little coffee shop with lots of beautiful crafts. Fun to take in some coffee & do a little browsing of their store. Great place to meet a friend for coffee
I've been a coffee house kid since "the big one" was selling 79¢ black coffee. This is one of a handful of coffee houses I've been in that keeps a come-sit-and -experience ambiance. So many places want to be scaled, and commercialised. This is a great exception to that! Bonus points, friendly staff, great coffee, good crepes, and an outstanding mission statement!!
