I Love Gather! This gem is owned and operated by my church, Alive Church in Chesapeak. VA. The service here is ALWAYS friendly and amazingly smooth. The Avacado toast with bacon is absolutely delicious. The coffee is hot, yummy and made to order with a smile. If you are looking for a clean and spacious place to relax or work...Gather is your place. Lots of tables, bar stools, couches and chairs make it easy to get cozy and comfy. If outside seating is your thing then they have that also. Come check it out!
Love so much about this place, only wish the service was a bit faster... Took us almostb20 minutes waiting in line then another 10 to get our order. Perfect place to come relax is you've got time to chill, you are planning to get some work done or you are visiting with friends.

Nice meeting spot. Clean. Good hot chocolate. Mascapone blueberry thingy was pretty good. Would meet clients here again.
Probably the best local coffee shop in Western Branch Chesapeake. Their draft lattes are dope and overnight oats are amazing. It takes some time to get your order, but they make everything fresh which is great.

Staff is very friendly good food and drink. But the service is SO SLOW. I am a patient guy..but.. I have tried this place over and over and the service is unbelievably slow every time. There is absolutely no sense of urgency with the staff. I get it's supposed to be laid back and chill.. but that's what the customers are supposed to be doing. Not the employees. I walked out the other day after I paid, I was the only customer waiting for my beverage to-go. After standing there for atleast 15 minutes in full view of the staff behind the counter (keep in mind there were only a few people sitting down - not busy at all) ..I just... left. So enjoy the 5 bucks Gather. Not worth the wait. Not coming back again.
The service and the food was really good. We also enjoyed the smoothies! Will definitely be back for the fruit toast.
Coffee well done, I got a ginger flavor and Sadley couldn’t taste the finer but overall fantastic. Food was ok. When I ordered the lady with purple hair was starring us down. The girl with red hair was dumb, I asked if they still served breakfast and she went into a huge explanation where I couldn’t even hear her, because she lacked confidence to talk loud and I said that’s fine if breakfast is not available and she said no it is……. I then asked for hot sauce like tobasco and she said they didn’t have tobasco but the young lady with the black hair who had some common sense said they have chalupa and I said yeah that works. Not dog friendly.
The Peruvian chicken soup was wonderful, and their spiced chai late was a perfect cap for a cool windy day.
They are very slow in making your food. Waiting 30 minutes just for them to make two sandwiches.
This was our first visit highly recommended by friends. Long wait to get our food. Somewhat pricey for a small amount of food. Not a friendly atmosphere. Will not return.
I liked coming here I did but the customer service is always slow they don’t seem to care about you or the fact some of us might be in a hurry I had a lot of errands to run today needed food and they completely forgot about my order even though I sat there in front of them it wasn’t until I stood up they scrambled to get it .. I appreciate the refund but they couldn’t even give me the muffin at least smh will not be coming back to this place
Great coffee shop with a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of workspace! Great place for an informal meeting.
Been a while since I've been here, and remembered it being better 🫤 drinks were good, but food was so-so... food took absolutely forever: strawberry Nutella toast for my daughter came out ice cold, and my pumpkin muffin was super dry and burnt along half... asked for a banana one to te replace, was brought another pumpkin, same issue. $19 for a muffin, toast and drink is also overpriced. Will be a while before I return. 😔
