Iced coffee was $6 which is definitely a bit overpriced. I could get over the cost if the coffee was good fresh brewed iced-coffee or cold brew, but it was not good at all. It tasted like hot coffee was just dumped over ice and very watered down.

Foodies will love the Trapp Family Lodge their shuttle bus can take you to the Kauffee House with fresh made pastries you can enjoy by the fire or at the coffee bar with more great views

The food was decent. Pastries were good but the breakfast sandwiches are sitting in a warmer and are small/dry. There are better options in the area for breakfast sandwiches

Went chasing the Fall all the way to Vermont from Boston. Heard of the kaffeehaus from people. So, pushed beyond endurance to have food; breakfast became brunch. Nice people who served at the counter. But very limited choice and blatantly costly. However the scenery from there was breathtaking. That was indeed a solace. Somehow the visit to Kaffeehaus leaves a sense of disappointment. The place is a must go but as far as the caffe, i will not.

I once gave this place a 5 star rating... not now! Yesterday, I went in for one of my favorite desserts. They didn't have it. They told me that I could order it for today. I ordered to slices with the promise that it would be there today. When I went in today they did not have it... they had only one slice. The lady behind the counter blamed me saying I should have waited and taken it with me yesterday. I again explained that we had ordered for today. She then gets the head baker to come out. He yells at me and tells me that he is overworked and underpaid. He was loud, rude and inappropriate. I am so disappointed at how the service has deteriorated there. Do yourself a favor and go to a different bakery. This place is no longer worth your time or your money. Trapp Family Lodge was once a great resort. Oh how things have changed. I would rate it 0 stars if I could.

We were staying at the Trapp Lodge and went down the road for breakfast here. The breakfast sandwich on homemade English muffin is the best! We ate outside on the deck and the view is heavenly. Treated ourselves to taking out some of the delicious apple strudel and rolled raspberry danish. Not to be missed!

Earlier this year we had purchased a turkey sandwich which was one of the best we ever had. We were so happy to go back and get sandwiches 2 days ago. This time they were stale with a few slices of cold cuts. Disgusting, perhaps the worst we ever had. We threw them out they were so bad. Should have known when it had a sell by date written on it with a sharpie. Not fresh, Not good. Waste of money.

Felt really content at this place while eating their delicious maple cheesecake! They also had a disc golfing course! Their employees were also very welcoming and friendly!
