Made an ugly looking avocado toast for my daughter. I payed $10 for four slices of cheap white bread with old looking avocado on it. They didn’t even add salt or spices. When I asked to exchange the avocado for a fresh one they gave me the same thing again. Please respect your customers and yourself as well.

Food was really good. Had the green goddess grilled cheese sandwich and a Mediterranean bowl. My husband had the Tex-Mex bowl. My friends had the same order however they ordered the Tex-Mex bowl without pork, chicken instead because they religious don’t eat pork. We had to send the bowl back twice because the first time it had pork only. The second time they clearly added the chicken with attempts to remove the pork by hand. Except we saw remnants of the pork in the bowl. Then the third time, she still saw a couple of pieces of pork! They gave up and just stopped eating the bowl and complaining. How frustrating! Luckily no allergies, just religious beliefs but what if she was deathly allergic!? Absolutely unacceptable. It’s so unfortunate because the food is actually very tasty here. The chefs/kitchen staff should be reprimanded to save themselves from a serious lawsuit if a serious allergic reaction were to happen to someone in the future.

Folks at the counter were impolite & dismissive. Not trying to earn my business, and entitled to my time and money; seems like it has become mostly a pickup orders type of restaurant. Food was excellent. No dogs (….but no sign indicating this store policy). Unfortunate as it seems otherwise nice, but has changed jn character significantly.

Wanted a smoothie. Was told we are not making smoothies today. So I ordered a salad. 2 or 3 people after me ordered and received their hot food before i did. I waited 28 minutes for a salad. Absolutely ridiculous.

Cute place, friendly staff, & good coffee. Food items were unique and tasy, just a little pricey. Sides/add-ons are overpriced.

Atrocious customer service and mediocre food. It’s almost not even worth the time to write this review, but if I can spare you from experiencing the disappointment that is this cafe then it will be worth it. It’s not about only having a QR menu or bussing your own tables — that’s fine and pretty normal for small spots in Vermont. The shockingly bad experience came from the people working there. I’m going to outline everything that added up to our terrible experience below. I am aware that some of the following could be considered nit-picky but it was the combination of these little things that made us decide to never come here again while under this management. First, the person at the counter was disinterested. Fine… maybe they’re having a bad day. We order our food (a coffee, a grilled slice of banana bread, a smoothie, and a sandwich) and go to the self-serve coffee area where there are no cups. When we bring it to their attention we are told “we don’t have any” instead of “let me get one for you”. We’re waiting without any communication that there is one on the way and 3 minutes later we are handed a mug. We go to get coffee but all three dispensers are empty. We let the two employees chatting nearby know there is no coffee and neither of them even acknowledged that we had spoken to the point where we genuinely wondered if they heard us. One of the people starts walking away, again without a word, and comes back with a jug of coffee and pours a cup from there. Okay — strange choice but whatever — we go to sit down. This last bit was the cherry on top. The food comes out and the banana bread was a third of the thickness of the already-thin slices for sale at the counter (not heated up). I bring the slice to the counter and ask why we were given a slice 4mm thick when the ones displayed are clearly larger to which the employee says “I didn’t cut it” then takes it back (without apology) and say they will heat up a new one. A few minutes later the chef himself br

Ordered 2 of the egg, avocado, tomato bfast sandwich and added bacon. It was good , but there is inconsistency with pricing throughout the menu. To add bacon to an egg and cheese sandwich is 2$ according to the menu, to add bacon to the sandwich I got was 4.50$. A side of bacon is 5$ . So I was disappointed that two breakfast sandwiches were just shy of 30$ , but at least they tasted good. I wouldn’t have ordered what I did had I known I’d be charged 4.50$ each sandwich to add bacon. I pointed this out to the cashier so hopefully they can get some consistency in their pricing or at-least publish that the cost will be different depending on what sandwich you add the meat to. Cashier was very friendly and did what she could to accommodate my concerns.

Nice place to have a sandwich. Best coffee in town. Tasty sandwiches. A tad pricey and be aware of extra charge for credit card use.

In town for work, we initially got a big platter with a fun variety of wraps and salads. It was soo delicious, that it has been our staple for lunch. Cowboy salad delicious if you want something with a kick. If you are Vegan or Not, the hippea chick wrap was one of my favorites.

I work across the street and really wish this place was good but every time I venture over for breakfast or lunch, the food is underwhelming and overpriced. It’s $12.75 for a coffee and a bland breakfast sandwich. Sandwich add on prices are also pretty crazy. I recently paid $4 extra for a slice of cheese and a few pickle slices on a BLT. Really guys?

A light breakfast is served on your own. The place is small and nice for coffee and something nearby.
