I stop here whenever I'm in the area, the #2xTurkey add cheddar and bacon. All of the baked goods are delicious and baked in house. Try the maple walnut cookie 🍪
Good food (loved the broccoli soup!); fun table in the middle of the crowds; service was ok considering the lunch crowd arrived just after we sat down; and very convenient.
We loved the hot chocolate! ❤️
Cute little shop with pastries and assorted coffee drinks attached to a souvenier store and s small children's book area.
This place is on the bad side of mediocre. Like every other "Cafe serving breakfast" in Vermont, you can't convince anyone to put an egg on a carbohydrate, let alone a bagel, after 10:30. The bagels themselves are small, hard, and tasteless. The chicken salad is bland and has ingredients that do not work at all together. The only positives are that they are actually open on Mondays, and the coffee is decent. Avoid unless desperate (on Mondays).
Nice coffee shop.
Beatiful place and amazing staff. I had the best waffle of my life there.
Excellent Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich.
Crazy busy during fall foliage!
Great sandwiches but really busy - especially during tourist season - so expect to wait in line for a little while.
Easy going café with friendly staff within the mercantile building on main street. Mostly sandwiches but we had a really good clam chowder...the bowl was so big I couldn't finish it...and the grilled cheese sandwich was yums. Was able to sit outside and watch the pedestrian traffic on main street...definitely a nice place to take a break.
Great food and friendly service. Plenty of variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend!!!
Waited 1 hour for a bagel and oatmeal while others who ordered after me received their food. Inefficient and food is marginal. Stowe really needs more breakfast establishments.
Overcharged me and gave me the wrong order
Busy place. Good food.
10/05/2022. Late Breakfast. Food is delicious. Muffins, eggs all great. The owners wife needs to get out of retail. Upon arriving, the basic coffee is self serv. Great, no problem. Both light and dark roast airports were empty. As we waited with a shot of cinnamon flavoring already in our cup, she thew the cup out. After about 6 to 8 minutes she put out new pots. We filled our new cup and took the cinnamon shaker on the self serv shelf to top off with extra cinnamon. It was empty. In a very polite manner we said its empty. With an absolutely super nasty aditude, we have no more cinnamon. We're out. We asked why so nasty. She called her husband and asked us to leave. I've been in retail over 40 years. She was a disaster. I'd like to assume she just had a bad day. She should have apologized. If she did. This might have been 5 stars.
Food was delicious 😋 Friendly staff Extremely busy but it's Fall peak season
The best soup I’ve ever had!! Need more Peanut ginger soup…cute location and very friendly hardworking staff! Must recommend any of their soups because all of them are 10/10. Also the best BLT in town! Would absolutely recommend!
Wow wow wow!! We stopped at Stowe town to walk around and ran into this place. We ordered a #2 turkey sandwich and I got the club sandwich. Don't be discouraged by the size of this small restaurant. This place makes excellent food. The club sandwich was probably the best I had for a long time. I am serious! Go try it for yourself. Not sure what they put in it but it was so delicious! The turkey sandwich was also delicious! I even complimented the chef and she was really happy to hear. Best sandwich shop ever!
Coffee spot w limited menu of bagels sandwiches and tea. Very light menu for snacks. Eccentric staff who definitely need training, maybe even a dress code or uniform. Appearances were almost as unsettling as the rude attitude. My bad you're standing at the register with nothing in front of you I thought you wanted to take our order. But nope just charging your friends phone. Health code violation behind the counter styling hair, putting in ponytails etc - things that should be done in the restroom not behind the food prep counter. I'm not hair phobic but it's just not what you do in food service. No one wants to see your hands in your hair and putting up your ponytail etc while you're literally at the same time taking orders and standing over their beverage and food. My latte was barely drinkable and my companion tossed their drink. Wouldn't recommend or return which is a shame bc it's located in a really awesome shop.
