Only had breakfast so can’t comment on anything else, but breakfast is the 💣, best in Waco. Anyone who complains about it should go to rocket cafe and be happily mediocre. The deets… 1. Coffee is legit, NOT the watered-down-scalding-hot Shipley’s kind of coffee. 2. Fried chicken biscuit was amazing. Chicken seasoning was so good. 3. Pancakes were top notch with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream topping. 4. Sausage was clearly hand made, but had a kick of spice 🌶️to it so be aware. 5. Service was friendly without being too friendly. 6. On a good weather day, ask to sit in their upstairs patio. All in all, everything we had was delicious, scratch made, served well, and heartily portioned. Venue has plenty of space for larger groups.

Waco has a number of very good breakfast or brunch places. This place, to me, is the best in Waco. Yes, I understand how that is a big statement. Their avocado toast was good, and so is the Power Bowl with bacon.

It’s not the “usually ” that defines quality and superior service; it’s the ability to do these consistently and catering to everyone. I waited more than 45 mins to be seated and an order was placed. The server came back and informed me that they are no longer serving breakfast! As they were informing me, French Toasts and eggs were being served at other tables. Arrghhh! They could have posted the breakfast hours or announced to those who have been waiting that such a cutover is approaching. And if you check their google ages there is a breakfast anytime menu. I guess false advertising?

On our way from Austin to Dallas we stopped here for a quick bite and were quickly welcomed by Abigail, our waitress. She immediately pointed out the best things on the menu. While we were waiting for our food, we told her we had never been to Waco. She was very informative and now we have to come back! HIGHLY recommend!!

They have the most delicious quiche lorraine here, cheesecake, and the best 254 coffee in town. Fast and super friendly waiters... what more could you want?

What I love about this place is the portions, so you can go in as a family or group of friends and eat Family style and finish off with great sweets. Clean friendly and a large variety menus, four to be exact. Diffantly a downtown find.

Food was delicious, but the service was just so friendly and accommodating, that was the best part! We sat on the outdoor patio and it was such a nice little vibe.

The food was really good!! Would rate food in itself about 8/10! The atmosphere is nice and building is clean as well. But the service wasn’t all too good. Our server came to our table maybe a total of 3 times. A different server brought us our bill and our food. Otherwise than service was very good.

My husband and I were very excited about trying a new place. After reading other reviews and looking at the menu, we decided to give The Olive Branch a try. It was a rather meh experience. We placed our order and then the waiting began. It seemed to take forever to get our food and once it arrived it was decidedly lack-luster. I opted for the Cajun Pasta. The description made it seem amazing and anything that has the word "Cajun" in it almost seems to promise that it will be flavorful and delicious, with a hint of spice. What came was most definitely not flavorful. It was, in effect, BLAND. The chicken was dry and the pasta, though cooked well and coated in sauce, didn't seem to live up to the promise the dish seemed to imply was coming. Probably the highlight of the dish was the little piece of bread that came with it. My husband got the TOB burger. While the burger was large and had lots of fresh looking ingredients on it (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.), the burger was also lacking in flavor. The egg that my husband added to it did improve the richness of the food, but shouldn't a burger already have some richness and flavor on its own? The high point of his meal was the french fries. Those, at least, were crispy and delicious. We tried the house sausage and it was decent. Since my husband also makes sausage, we were both excited about trying something professionally made. After sampling it, we decided that his is superior, although what we were served was okay. One of the things that struck me after looking at the menu we received versus the menu online, was the absence of some of the choices. There are more pasta dishes on the online menu and there were NO house specialties available on the paper menu from the restaurant. Part of that may be because we were there for lunch and they may have a limited selection then. With all this being said, the service was good, although, once again, not great. Having ruminated on it for awhile, I think I will be good wit

It's nice to have an alternative to burgers and Mexican food in downtown. The service is friendly and attentive. The chicken and wine suggestions was delicious. Too much salt in the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach...

I really love the food and atmosphere here. We recently had a little problem with a lost and found item but the owner personally reached out to me to address the issue and went above and beyond to correct it. We appreciate her kindness and thoughtfulness. The Olive Branch will definitely still be our go to brunch spot because we want to support a great and honest business!

The hostess was nice, 20 minute wait. The waitress was nice an the restaurant was busy. Looking at other people's meals the food plates look like art work an delicious. The menus they had 2 an it was simple to read. On 1 menu had drinks an the other 1 had the fo9d an drinks also. We placed our order an didn't take long for our food to arrive. I got the Brisket Skillet, everything was in a Skillet when it arrived. The food in the middle was hotter under the egg when cooked then out side of the egg was barely luke warm.
