When its good its great. When it isn't its okay. But just okay is a little annoying when you're paying >$5 for a latte. See photo of the latte I ordered. Saying the texture needs some work would be putting it mildly. But when you've got the right baristas it is truly quite good. I want to give this place I higher rating but I just can't when I know I have to gamble on whether they'll have the right staff or not. Lastly, the new redesign is pretty striking. It isn't for me tbh----feels like a journey through the gut biome of a ninja turtle. But those who like a bit more vibrancy in their bars/cafes may prefer it.

Relaxing vibe with great tunes, comfy chairs and delicious creamy coffee! Service was fast and the coffee hot ❤️ Cute spot in downtown Waco!

Great coffee, great decor and funky ambiance, interesting menu, but the guy working behind the counter was unfriendly and acted like it was a burden to be there. Would have given 5 stars if we were greeted and felt welcome.

Great selection of different roasts and drink options. Really cool, chill vibe with a fantastic roof top deck.

They got the best cocktails in Waco! Staff is super friendly. Last time I went, they took my drink off the tab because they accidentally mixed up my order with someone else's. Would highly recommend for both their coffees and drinks.

Drop into this local favorite institution for coffee or cocktails + the BEST rooftop views of downtown Waco in the city.

This is an unexpected hole in the wall and amazing adventure...they offer specialty coffees plus a full bar. The back area shrouded by large ceiling to floor curtains houses a sitting room wherein they offer live music on occasion that is reminiscent of a 1920s secret lounge. Definitely worth a stop in, check ahead to see what entertainment they will be offering!

One of our favorite spots to stop in Waco when traveling. They're nitro cold brew is really good. Unfortunately they didn't have it the last two times we were there.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Waco. It has a comfortable and easy-going environment so you can either get work done, spend time with friends, or just quietly enjoy a coffee solo. The staff are kind and offer great recommendations so you can find the drink that suits you best. They have non dairy milks so everyone can find a drink that matches them best whether it is vegan or not. I am a huge fan of the seasonal Spicy Orange Cappuccino

I always go to dichotomy when visiting family here. The staff somehow always cracks me up and they make good coffee.

The atmosphere was awesome. I loved how they were all decked out for xmas. I was a little sad that at 2pm, we couldn't order a coffee with alcohol. I was really excited to have a seasonal type mixed drink. But they dont serve alcohol until 5pm. I got a dirty chai, which was good. The espresso wasnt bitter and the chai wasn't too sweet. I enjoyed it. My husband got a mocha latte. It wasn't the best. He said it was the worst of the four places we tried while in Waco (but not bad, though! It's just not as good). He said that it had a slight aftertaste that he didn't enjoy. But coffee is such a personal preference. I would definitely try this place again in the evening if we are ever back in town.

Ordered one of the holiday drinks. It was okay, not worth the $14. Nice ambience

The eggnog was not good but the butter-beer cocktail was so so delicious! I even got a cute photo with Elf!

Cute place but horrible service. Waited a very long time to order and then waited even longer to get my drink. The coffee was cold and tasted bad.

Despite the fact that I'm always here, I was very impressed by the staff. It's black Friday, so it's definitely busy. There were probably ten people in line, but they all worked together and didn't stop until they got everything done. Although it could have been a stressful situation, they maintained their integrity and kept everyone happy. As always, the coffee was amazing!

Friendly faces, comfortable chairs plus Hot Chocolate on a cold morning oh yes! A little quiet time before the crew woke up following a late Saturday night and this spot was perfect! Thank you

Great cocktails and selections of beer and wine. We didn't go to the coffee side but it appears they have a good menu there as well based on the constant foot traffic.

This place has excellent coffee! You need to stop in a go to dichotomy. One of my personal favorites is the corto, a drink you don’t often see at American coffee shops. I would love to know where the got their coffee mugs, because they look so modern.

Always check the lowest ratings for this place..! They still do the same thing they did months ago where they always chat with people sitting in the bar area rather than help someone who's on the left side waiting to order.. me and my friend came here a while back because we wanted to check the place out. The workers saw us and completely ignored us and quickly went back to the bar section. This place has such terrible service let alone the drinks are soooo bland.
