Ordered again tonight through ASAP and I don’t know if there is a language barrier or if they can’t be bothered to read and again I asked for no tails on the shrimp but got tails. Asked for no sriracha sauce and was given sriracha also asked for 8 soy sauce packets and got 4… this place suffers from what I can staff blight.. just a bunch of people who can’t follow basic instructions if they even read them. Assuming restaurant doesn’t pay enough to attract quality staff. Good food but violates a big pet peeve of mine… if you order a dish such as fried rice with shrimp then have fun digging through the rice and picking out shrimp to take the tail off. I know some people eat tails but to me it’s an inedible part of the shrimp and being still on the shrimp indicates a lazy chef who can’t be bothered to properly prepare a shrimp. This last order I even ask for the tails to be removed and they were still on… double lazy, can’t take the tail off a shrimp or read. i guess I’ll have to stop ordering here and order from Narunyas in Belton whom properly prep a shrimp and frankly taste better.

Ordered on uber eats and got 2 dishes with veggies as protein, but recieved no mushrooms in both. Called only to be told that mushrooms are not in the veggie protein mix which makes no sense and kind of dissapoints me because anytime i have ever ordered these veggie dishes elswhere, mushrooms are included.
Ordered at 8:07 on doordash. At 8:37 the restaurant canceled my order. I won't order from or eat at this restaurant again. It's disingenuous to accept an order and then 30 minutes later cancel it.
Update review: We made a large family order of two soups, two orders of pepper steak, one order of the pepper steak was also seafood combo. The lady who took our order confused herself and made an error on our order. Then when called after getting home to find missing pepper steak, they said they made the error when entering the food, but still was going to charge us for the pepper steak. So we declined their offer of making another order, charging us, and us driving back to pick up the mistake they made. Poor customer service and lack of accountability. Never returning to this unethical place of business.

Ordered through Uber eats. It first said that it will take 25 minutes max to deliver, it took hour and a half. I can understand that, things can happen. But when I received the food it was a significant difference on the amount of rice between one plate and the other. I ordered Thai Rice and paid $3.50 extra for 3 meats and $3.50 extra for shrimp, it only have shrimp. Taste was ok but I have definitely have a lot better Thai fried rice. Also to expensive or at least not worth the price. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. It would be the last.
Went in recently and dealt with rude staff. I waited while I could see her feet sitting in a chair just behind the curtain for a while. There was a problem with our order that could have been easily remedied but she felt it suitable to argue. There’s a great place in Waco and a really good one in Killeen, where employees have always been friendly and didn’t ignore you. Your inner peace is worth the drive.
I love Sam Zaar. It's nice to be able to get boba tea and Thai food all in one place especially on this side of town. I've had a lot on their menu and everything has been great. My toddler likes the kid's pad Thai and my husband loves the drunken noodles. We usually order to go and it's ready quickly. We've dined in as well and it's nice inside.
I ordered on Door Dash. I got the Thai fried rice with mixed veggies. It had a great flavor. I ordered my husband the combination Thai fried rice. He liked it, but noticed that his rice didn't have the same flavor as mine (without meat). Ironically, the veggie fried rice tasted better in my opinion. I would definitely order again.
Drunken noodles are delicious! Service was fantastic, sweet people.
I walked in. All I wanted to order was a simple coffee. Waited for about 10 minutes just to be told “I have a lot of customers, can you wait awhile?” I asked: “how long?” She said: “I don’t know, I have like 20 people.” So I left. She had a horrible attitude and tone. Won’t be coming back.

Chicken pad Thai medium spice is delicious! And the Matcha milk tea with boba is so good! Definitely will be returning ☺️

The food is terrible. The service is terrible. I took my children to lunch and they don't even have highchairs or booster seats for children. We were the only 3 people in the place and I waited 45 mins for food. Everything we got was bad. The pad thai tasted like straight sugar.. my kids wouldn't even eat it. My curry tasted like spicy water and the rice was hard and crunchy. Don't waste your TIME or money here. If I could give it 0 starts I would.
This was my first time to try Thai food and I have no complaints. It was so good and I received my food exactly the way I ordered it.
