Great coffee and relaxing atmosphere. There was plenty of seating for our group of 5. We tried several different coffees, cruffins and freshly baked cookies - all were awesome.

I love to go to the 1914 Coffee House. It's like going to a bar, but more wholesome. I've met quite a few people there, and all the baristas are very nice, and Simone is an excellent ambassador for the place. You dont have to feel shy about walking in there; she'll make you feel at home. The 1914 coffee is my favorite choice, and the whipped cream is like no other you've tasted - kind of coconut like. It's crowded on a rainy day so umbrellas over the outside tables would be perfect!

I had the Spinach and Feta Cruffin and my husband had the sausage gravy cruffin and they were both absolutely AMAZING. We will be customers for life.
Just what Temple needed! Such a cozy, welcoming environment with tasty lattes and treats! The workers are always friendly, and I love the different seating options.
Super cute and quaint house with friendly staff and great coffee and pastries! The lemon blueberry muffin is definitely a favorite. And the dirty iced chai is amazing!
This place kicks the absolute **** out of Arusha. Better rewards, Better Wifi, and Better drinks. The atmosphere and the Air Conditioning keeps me coming back multiple times every week to get in a game of Dota 2 while enjoying a blended Cookies and Cream! I only wish they were open later than 8pm! Perfect place to study, chat with friends, or just be a nerd like me with a laptop!

Best coffee shop in Temple, and the owners are the nicest people who always make you feel welcome. Great drinks and food. Really nice historic home.

RUDE AND INEXPERIENCED I took my four-year-old daughter in because 1914 looked like a lovely place to have some afternoon tea. The young man at the counter took my order. He seemed inexperienced but polite nonetheless. We were happy with our order but the grasshopper energy drink was not my cup of tea. Pun intended. This is where the rudeness started. The lady with the short black hair gave me eye rolls galore and brisk movements when asked to remake the drink. It was so awkward and uncomfortable for me to have my daughter witness that I packed our things and left. We will not be back

This is great place. Very roomy, there is also awesome outside deck and grassy area. Very relaxing atmosphere. I had the 1914 latte, I asked for 1/2 sweet. It was so good. I am most definitely coming back to try their pastries (my friend had the blueberry muffin and he liked it) and other drinks.
Didn’t take any pics but this place is great. Will update review again later when I go back. Didn’t get to try a cruffin because they were all out. Coffee is well roasted and tastes good. Even sweet drinks didn’t taste overly sweet to me. Location is gorgeous and clean, nice seating all over. I do wish there was a taller table, the muffins we ate went everywhere. One small complaint, the Apple Cinnamon muffin has raisins in it and raisins are the devil. Please warm people there are little demon raisins inside the muffin. (Sorta joking)

Very homey coffee shop, cozy and inviting. I have only gotten their cold brew great every time. Their shortbread is very good and they crumuffin with cream cheese and jam is very good as well.
