Both the diner and store are very good. The diner's menu is full of Texas staples, chicken fried steaks, burgers, etc. made with their own high quality meats. The meat market is hard to beat in terms of both selection and quality. Their kolaches and other baked goods rival those found in West. This place is worth the short drive east from I-35.

This is a hidden jewel. Been around forever. Great meat market with fresh bacon and sausage. I can remember coming here with my grandfather every December to get the ham for Christmas. We would have lunch in the cafe attached. Down home country food, nicest folks, and gorgeous country side. Now my husband and I make the drive from Houston a couple of times a year. Gotta have their weekend special. Sausage and sauerkraut can't be beat.

Green's Sausage House is the best, best kept secret in Texas. You've never had a Kolache until you have had one from Green's. Meat or fruit, their Kolaches are the best. It's a nice drive in the country to get there and well worth the trip. The menu in the cafe was updated recently and the food is better than ever.

We have visited Green’s Sausage House on several occasions and have always enjoyed their cafe. Last week-ish, my husband and I returned for lunch. He ordered the catfish plate with fries and a salad, I had the ribeye, green beans and a salad. Travis said it was by far the best catfish he had ever had. My ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Of course, I took half of it home for lunch the next day. We can never leave without stopping in the shop and snagging some delicious canned treat. This time it was Pickled Okra ( my favorite) and it is delicious! Next trip I’ll hunt for some bread and butter pickles. Thanks Green’s for always making our visits worth the drive. Love the kolaches... all of the varieties. Service is polite and helpful. Lots of other meats and unique gas station type items. There is also a restaurant that has great service and food. Always stop here to get something during my travels.

Stopped and had breakfast. Food was great and the service was just as good. Friendly and made me feel at home. Old fashioned easy over eggs, homemade sausage, hash browns, biscuits and a cup of coffee that never ran out. After eating I bought some homemade sausage links to take home for the weekend grill. They were great.

This place is in the middle of no where if you type in Zabcikville it will bring you right to greens. First time I went here I tried several kind of the sausage that they had including the hot dogs. That being said let me tell you about these hot dogs. I know a lot of people don't like them but these were simply the best I've ever had. They have the snap casing and they taste so good. The next time I went back I ended up spending 15 dollars just on these hot dogs. Just a tip. Don't microwave them boil or grill and you will be converted. Still great stuff in this place. The prices are a little higher but you are deffinatly payimg for quality. If you get a chance to and eat in the resturant. The prices are great and the food is very good. The service is good as well. great. Just so many good choices.

Everything lived up to the reputation this place had and the testimonials we had heard from a few different people before visiting ourselves. I absolutely loved it. From the food to the people they experience was lovely. And the homemade bread is exceptional. The sausage is some of the best I've had. The mashed potatoes were like Grandma used to make. Definitely go check this place out.

My wife and I are foodies in like to travel around to different towns and partake in local eateries that are well known..... Today was a real treat... We had a couple of sausage plates with sauerkraut, green beans and mashed potatoes and I have to say it's the best sausage I've had in Texas. The people were a blast as well both the patrons and the employees. People were lined up to buy a specialty meats at the meat counter. We had a great time and had some excellent food. We will be back for sure. Thank y'all

Amazing down home cookin’ at very fair prices! Green’s is the epitome of what a good old fashioned country restaurant should be. The food was excellent and the service was efficient and friendly. My chicken fried steak was great. You have to go next door and try some homemade kolaches! I’d recommend the cream cheese or peach ones.
