Best coffee in Lubbock.
How wonderful it is to fix a cup of "Costa Rica" coffee and enjoy the smell of coffee in the kitchen; delicious, and no bitterness. Great way to start my day.
Fantastic coffee! Fantastic service! Fantastic people! I've been ordering from Tierras Planas for over a year and have never been disappointed. Their beanies (hahaha, coffee beans, get it) will keep you nice and warm too.
I enjoyed my first cup of TP coffee years ago while passing through Lubbock. I have been ordering beans for shipment to my home in NM ever since. Their Ethiopian beans are the best!
What a fantastic service and product. We are on their monthly subscription. The first bag of beans we were delivered were roasted two days before. The quality and freshness of these beans is top notch. If you live in Lubbock and are not buying your coffee from Tierras Planas you are missing out!
Tierras Planas is the BEST cup of coffee I have ever had. Every roast is beautiful and delicious every time. The people that work there are also fantastic. I love ordering my coffee and reading the little notes they frequently leave on the invoice, along with the occasional freebie, though those are understandably far less likely, lol. They have ruined other coffees for me with their complex, flavorful roasts and amazing customer service. They are truly a Gem of Lubbock.
I’m so thankful to have a local roaster that makes excellent blends and has top notch customer service! Whether we pick up our beans at the Wolfforth Farmers Market or order online for local delivery, I’m always happy with the product. I’m especially thankful for them having Ethiopian varietals as well as Tanzanian too. Can’t beat the lovely berry notes of a perfectly roasted Africa sourced bean! Keep doing what you’re doing, you folks are great!

I had an awesome experience picking up my order from their roasting location today. I am new to grinding whole beans and going beyond the standard preground drip coffee, and Kerry was an excellent source of information for me. I enjoyed chatting with him, and was even provided with a free sample of a newer variety as part of my order. If you are looking for great fresh roasted coffee and want to support a local business, please do yourself a favor and check them out!

The best coffee!! I especially love their Peru. The flavor comes out amazing even with my home brew. So glad to find them at Wolfforth farmer's market.
We made some with our pour over cone and I wanted to let you know that the smell of it gave me an awesome smell memory. I used to stay overnight at my grandfather’s house every summer for a whole week; I’d call it Grandpa Camp. It was my favorite part of the year, and every morning of Grandpa Camp started with eating cereal and smelling his morning coffee, which smelled exactly like the coffee you sent. My husband makes coffee here at home every day and I’ve never had this memory. I just thought you’d want to know that.
