Love the old fashioned style. Food is good and fast.
The food and service were amazing! I cannot imagine that any of the food choices could be bad. Home made from scratch and cooked fresh is their motto! Try it! You won’t be disappointed I promise! We will definitely return!
Had the baked potato with a lot of toppings and it was wonderful. Can't wait to try the chicken and dumplings! The shops they have in there are great lots of cute stuff!
I had the baked potato nothing special Also had meatloaf sandwich, meT had flavor but too dry. Not cheap
This place was great. I'm so glad kingsland finally has a great home cooked Cafe besides crazy gals. The lady taking my order was awesome. Well be back.

What an awesome little place, fresh food, and home cooking can’t ask for a better menu, the staff are so pleasant to speak to and the atmosphere is cozy! Not to mention the women’s western wear shop in the back , over all love this place!
I know I'm not the only one who's posted about Kingsland's best kept secret...The Potato Shack...OH MY GOODNESS!! We ate there today and it is delicious!! Make this your restaurant choice the next time you're looking for a place to eat. You won't be disappointed. Located next to HEB and O'Reilly's.
I wish zero stars was a rating option!!!! I came for a baked potatoe and after waiting 22 minutes went to the counter to see the status of my potato, she rudely told me they cook them to order & I was a few orders behind people dining in. Everyone had their food!!! So I let her know she should warn customers they're going to take an hour to bake said potatoe! & That her tank top was against health code inside the cooking area! As well as having children roam freely though the food preparation area and to keep their 12$ potato! Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Love their fully loaded baked potato. They are so hugh you diffenitly will have left overs. Salads are also delicious and hugh. Love this place

My new fav place has the best chicken salad sandwich 🥪 ON A CROISSANT 🥐 and I wish I could order it every day!!! They take a lot of care in everything they serve. Really appreciated!!!!
We live next-door to the potato shack and we love going over there and eating from the wonderful food that James and Robin prepare. We have even had them cater some parties for us and everyone at the party always gives raving compliments. I need to go out on the evenings that they have Saturday music that’s fabulous it’s a BYOB, and then eat from there great food great entertainment and great owners of the potato shack; Robin and James.
Our company has worked with Robin and The Potato Shack Cafe & Bakery for a couple of months now. Good people, great food. Some of the best home cooking, comfort food and baked goods in Kingsland and the Hill Country area. Highly recommended!
Cozy atmosphere and friendly owners. One of the best places to dine in our area. Had a group of 8 and everyone was very pleased with meal and service.
Was delicious!! Would definitely go back again.
