Yum!
We bought lemon and peach fried pies. They were so good! There's savory flavors as well (ie broccoli and cheese) if you don't like sweets.

I have been hearing about fried pies from Texas for over two years from my wife. We drove 30 minutes out of our way to come here. Cute little counter in a gas station. Delicious pies and friendly staff.

The Fried Pie Shoppe is in the gas station and I love it. I am from Chicago and went in there with a friend from Glen Rose and had a pecan pie and now I am hooked. Good pies, nice staff, and clean. It is my must have treat when in Glen Rose.
