Do not eat at this restaurant if you are from out of town. The waitress is extremely rude! She did not wait on us. Got mad at my niece for getting crackers and was mad that we did not finish our waters. She literally made a comment about us not finishing our waters. I will NEVER frequent this restaurant again! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Super great place to go with your S/O. Very cute, quaint, and they have delicious food. There are plenty of books, lots of tabletop games, and decks of cards. This cafe is a wonderful relaxing way to lose a few hours in the afternoon. This is a great place to stop by any time you're in the area.

Food was good, but waited an hour for it. Would have been nice to know the wait was so long as we are driving thru and stopped for a quick lunch.
I've eaten there many times over many years, mist recently just awhile ago today,1-9-23, and every meal has been a spot -on delight, with everyone there being professional and kind and the unique setting it makes a beautiful spot for fun seekers or romantic dining either one, while being as affordable as a humble cafe. I give it 7 out of 5 stars, .really. R.L.G.

This is an amazing place in the heart of Glen Rose. They have a dining area with toys and books for kids. The sandwiches are amazing. Freshly made with top notch meats, veg, and other accoutrements. Also very nice deserts.
Great Glen Rose lunch stop! Fun atmosphere, delicious food! I had a fantastic chicken salad sandwich, also the clubs and wraps looks great. They had a fun little kids’ hangout area!
The food here is top notch for a small town. Just good easy on you food. Soups, sandwiches/wraps and more. The pickles are superb.
Such a fun little place to have lunch. The sandwiches are decent, but we all rave about the buttermilk pie. The children love playing while we wait. There's a lot to see inside this cute little cafe.
Plenty to see and do here, especially if you love books and games. Each table has a few games to play to pass the time, and all the used books along every wall are for sale. Reasonably priced homemade sandwiches were tasty. It's a surprisingly large place, with lots of kid-friendly activities.

Stop here! Great food and the atmosphere is so unique and warm. Grab a book or a card game with your lunch and get the sweet tea bc it's perfect.
