Really fun place to eat or drink inside or out on the sidewalk! I love to come early in the morning and have tea & scones while sitting at a table on the sidewalk. Their scones are top-notch, & the tea is super great, too. I'm from Bryan & enjoy sitting across the street from the historical St. Andrews Episcopal Church. It's very pleasant to watch people come & go, and there are lots of interesting shops & antique stores in the area.
We absolutely love visiting The Village Cafe when we are out for a weekend motorcycle ride to Bryan. They have options for gluten and dairy free meals. Also love they are LGBT+ friendly and supportive of the local arts. Excellent small business.
This place is incredible. The owner was awesome, so informative of the area. All the staff went above and beyond to make our visit a blast!
Weird food (a square biscuit doesn't taste better nor does a triangular sausage ) I wish it made sense or was delicious at least and then part of my order is missing so I call and get some super rude woman who hangs up on me before I even finish explaining what's up so I call back and she doubles down with rudeness. It's a shame too because it's a really cute place but I would never go back and the food was pretty mediocre honestly. Very pretty to look at though.
The food was amazing and the lattes came in a big cup just how I like it. It was pricey but I would go back just for the food experience and the fast wifi to work again.
This place is amazing! Food, service, friendliness it's all amazing!
Really great place to visit for a quick bite. Very friendly staff too.
I recently met someone for business meeting here. Lots of space, great service and good food.
Not many places downtown were open on a Sunday evening. We were glad Village was... nice atmosphere and great food.
Came down to Bryan to visit, and went here for breakfast/brunch. The food had no flavor really. The potatoes were horrible. I did enjoy the coffee and scones, it wasnt bad at all, so props to them for that. But the main food, yea i would not recommend. The art was cool also lol
Breakfast is okay, coffee is delicious....the patio is comfy and dog friendly.
We love the place, but the pastries they offered declined in variety and quality. Cannot find much that is tasteful to go along with coffee or tea. I hope, that changes soon.
Very cozy spot. I'm gluten free and dairy free, and they had options! The service was phenomenal, and the honey lavender latte (with oat milk) was delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat.
The latte (oatmeal crema pie) was delicious, and the service and atmosphere everything you want in a local coffee shop. Coming back soon to try the food!
Small fun atmosphere. Fresh ingredients in our sandwiches.
A wonderful experience.... good food, calm and quiet. Can have a good conversation with your spouse with very little interruption. Beautiful coffee topping that tasted delicious. 😁 Lots of art surrounding you. Very nice atmosphere.
First time here with 2 peeps. We enjoyed the pulled pork on a biscuit it was really good. The turkey sammy was also good. The pizza was meh not anything i would order again. Good pizza is hard to find. Coffee n service was good. We would come again.
First time here Me and my fiancé came to check out the place. Friendly people and staff. Yummy fresh pizza. Chill environment, very quiet. Will be coming back soon..
Great, cozy atmosphere. During my visit I found many people hanging out, studying, working with classmates, or just enjoying a cozy coffee.
Love supporting local and so does this restaurant! They support different local organizations, events and even feature local artists on their walls. The food is good! I had the gluten free pizza and Greek salad. Salad was a bit small but it was fresh and gently dressed which I appreciate. Team members are very welcoming, chill and knowledgeable about gluten allergies. We had a group of 8 meet up and there was a semi private area for us to conduct some business. They were super accommodating! #glutenfree
