Mediocre breakfast food and not so good coffee. It was very watery and bitter even though we ordered breves.
I would say not good breakfast tacos or salsa. Gave grey eggs and the salsa isn’t the right consistency.
Bad customer service experience. We stood in line for five minutes, no response from anyone as they were working on the coffee machine. When we finally asked, they said it would be another 20-30 minutes, then back to ignoring us. Definitely lacking basic customer service awareness.
we were the third car. 25 minutes later we were the second car. wow. Even if only one person was employed, it would have been faster.
We found this local coffee shop while driving around so we stopped in. We were kindly served by the staff, they answered our questions well and without making us feel stupid. Our food was served fresh and the coffee was delicious! Did I mention they are very reasonably priced?! They also have a drive thru. Definitely recommend stopping in for coffee, breakfast or lunch!

Recently ordered an iced white mocha. It was decent. However, unfortunately when I was looking in the pastry case I saw tons of flies and gnats trapped in there flying around and landing all over the food. Very unsanitary.
Zucchini Panini on toasted thin square white bread? Not very toasted & not very tasty. Good service though...
Better than Starbucks and way cheaper. Worth stopping here.
Okay I thought I had a favorite coffee shop in Bastrop but I was so wrong! COFFEE DOG IS IT y’all. Tasty food, from breakfast to lunch options, smoothies, and of course their COFFEE! The prices are unbeatable compared to other coffee shops in the area. I’m only stopping here for coffee and baked goods from now on! I love that they offer dairy-free alternatives, too! They also have coloring pages and crayons for little ones which I so appreciated. Don’t stop rocking, Coffee Dog!

We decided to stop by this morning first time. Let’s start with the cleanliness the bathroom was not clean . They have an over flow of storage by the front door . The food came before our drinks and it was so disappointing. Frozen& slapped together. Now the coffee…. Iced vanilla latte tasted like pure milk no vanilla, no coffee. The mocha was was worse than chewing ground beans that already been used. We left one bite of food one sip of coffee we left .
Not sure if this was a random thing? Looks like and tasted like they cleaned the grill from the night before with my food. Wasn’t even edible with globs of hot sauce. Only reason I didn’t give a 1 start is because I’ve had half way decent food here in the past.

My first trip to Coffee Dog because I saw Ruben sandwiches on their menu. I was told they were busy and could I wait 20 minutes to come in. I did that, picked up my $10 sandwich only to get home and find no sauerkraut on it. Not everyone can make a good Ruben and I understand that. I also know that being busy is a good thing, however, if I pay that much for a sandwich, I do expect to get what I ordered.Could not eat it! Very disappointed!
I am a Coffee Dog patron however I have to give them two stars for the svc I received today at the drive thru. I ordered a veggie wrap and bottle of water. Waited at the window for over 15 minutes. After pulling around and walking inside (assuming they had forgot about me + there was another car in line behind me) the lady at the front counter tell me they are still working on my wrap. I told the young lady as courtesy to your customer you should set their expectation to wait 15 minutes and check in with your customer every now and then. Based on the lack of empathy and the nonchalant reaction I don't expect change.
1 star for pretty good coffee and 1 star for the good kolache (that I got cold.) -3 stars for the other things I ordered which was a big no for me. I’ll leave it at that. Addition to original post: 1 star for the good customer service
Ordered an Americano coffee. It should have had 2 shots of espresso but the fella only put one shot. Even after we added the second shot, it still was just so-so. Quite disappointed!

Best coffee/breakfast spot In town!Staff is always super friendly and the food is always delicious!My favorites are their mouth watering homemade cinnamon rolls, the veggies wrap(add extra dressing),and their breakfast tacos are sooo good!I definitely recommend the dog pound! It fills me up for the day!
