Food was bad. I got the pork tacos which were dry. Not dry from being over cooked, but dry like they were made yesterday and sat in the fridge uncovered for 24hrs. The amount of cilantro that was on the tacos was ridiculous, cilantro is a garnish!! Were they trying to hide the bad meat? Plus it’s not cheap $14.99!! Don’t waste your money, there are better places to eat in Alpine.
Food was decent. Nothing special at all. Probably understaffed but realllllly slow service. Food came out quick but waiter was nowhere to be seen. Multiple other tables literally tracked him down to pay/order. Beans and rice were pretty good

I loved the vibes in here. They had live music and the staff was very friendly. Bartender was awesome too! I got my food to go and it was delicious
I cannot recommend this place enough. I stayed here in October of '22, and the staff and service were as good as one could hope. If you are taking a trip to Big Bend on a motorcycle, this is the place to stay.

Seems like a good idea, just executed poorly. Waitress was meaner than bulldog chewing on a wasp. The band was pretty good. But the whole place lacked something.
Honestly have never had a worse experience. Owner and manager treat their employees and their customers like garbage. Would have been a great place for our locals and our bikers but with their attitude? This place won’t make it much longer. Food is great and the service couldn’t be better, but avoid the manager at all costs because it’s obvious they’ve never been mistreated in the industry. Hopefully things have been dealt with and have gotten better since because it was DISGUSTING.
The food is good and the rooms are very clean. The live entertainment was good
First time drinks were very good. Second time not what was advertised. Hornitos! Is the best for ranch water

The food is awesome!! I love the atmosphere, and the waitress was super nice. I felt a little rushed. We ordered 2 meals to go, after we had our lunch. We were brought the to go order with our plates and so we had bags and boxes to deal with on the table as we ate out lunch. Just a suggestion for management... To go orders should be brought out with the check to pay. And ask your customers if they are ready for their check. I felt rushed to leave because less than 5 minutes after our meals arrived we were given the check and told we could pay with cash or card. I didn't even have half my food eaten yet The tables next to the windows are beautiful. I would move them to a location away from the windows due to the beauty of them. Not enjoyed when the sun is cooking you from the outside.
Overpriced, no flavor. The lettuce on my taco looked like it had been sitting out for hours, they don't have fries and the beans and chips were straight from the can/bag and the overall flavor of the food was meh. The place was smoky, and yet there is nothing smoked on the menu, so im assuming it just has bad chefs and poor ventilation?
Hard to get service...especially in the bar. We ate dinner...delicious gourmet hamburgers. Then went to the bar, could get anyone to serve us so we left.
It was a warm and friendly atmosphere with a live band. Nothing like a cold drink and hot Mexican food after a long day in the saddle. Salsa platter with corn chips and beefy enchiladas. Good food, friendly service, it's hard to beat.
Service was extremely slow, but short staffed like all places are. Music was great, food was not. It took 1.75hrs to get food, but we were told this prior to ordering, which had sat awhile before we received it...too salty and not able to say much more. Sad because I was looking forward to good guiso! The music was great along with the Mexican coffee!
Love love love this place! They have the best burgers I've ever had. No kidding!
The food was excellent. I highly recommended the stupid crazy nachos with pork. They were very busy because of spring break but the “ bottle boy” Juston was awesome. He went out of his way to help us and make sure our visit was great. By the way he does so much more than just a bottle boy. He needs a promotion or at least a raise lol.
open mic night with wonderfull food. there was hard working staff, but we had the wait a bit on order and service. but they were very polite and did the best they could. had a wonderfull diner with my family.
