I loved the oatmeal so much, I had it both days we were in town. The cup is an ample serving. The muffins are huge and very tasty. Service was wonderful.
One of the few gems in alpine. This place has the only decent breakfast in the region. Be sure to look at thr baked goods at the counter before you order, if that's what you're after.
Good food, cool old building, surprised they were open on this Snowy Saturday. We ordered a variety of different foods and everybody was pleased with their breakfast. We took several different baked goods back with us. My husband said that that was the best cinnamon roll he's ever had.

Best little hole in the wall breakfast spot! Wonderful food, great service, cinnamon rolls are scrumptious! Bread was melt in your mouth good.

Just had a short stop with Amtrak in Alpine. Restaurant in train was closed, so no coffee in the morning … which is bad. We ran over to the cafe, asked for coffee and told them we are here by train. They immediately got the situation and few seconds later, we got our coffee and a little present for the way. Too bad we could not stay longer.
Cinnamon Rolls are to die for. Amazing sweets and good breakfast. Frequent eater here.

Breakfast was great! The staff was great! The pancakes with blueberries were phenomenal!!! I am a pancake person and these were on my top list!
The decor was nice and the servers friendly, but the coffee was super weak. Adding one creamer made me feel like I was drinking half and half.

Omg. The servers here are absolutely ROCKSTARS. The food was perfect. From biscuits and gravy to the pancakes, it was awesome! Everyone here was so welcoming and friendly, I'd be back just because of that. That the breakfast was so good, just sealed the deal. :) Cowboy breakfast for an easy win!
Friendly service and great food. The stack with cranberries was so good, My daughter had the burrito and that thing was massive, and delicious. Son had eggs, potatoes, bacon, and biscuit so good! But y'all those biscuits! Wow!!
Cinnamon roll perfect: faint taste of butter, crisp on top, neither too much icing nor cinnamon. Just right.
This is the best place in Alpine for breakfast. The fresh baked muffins are amazing. The serving crew is very pleasant and helpful. Southern style breakfast dishes will not disappoint. The many paintings by local artists are are a big plus, not sure if they are for sale, but nevertheless enjoyable. This is a must go for breakfast when you visit Alpine.
Fantastic service authentic Texas breakfast with those nice thick coffee cups that bring me back to waffle house as a kid. The food, not like waffle house!
