Very beautiful place, amazing seating and service.
Quite possibly the best espresso I have had in all of Memphis.
Really enjoyed my coffee here. I ordered the bourbon mocha and didn’t think it was too pricey in comparison to similar spots. I loved sitting in the hotel lobby, it was beautiful. Maybe my next hotel if I come back to memphis.
If you love serious quality roasted coffee and fantastic atmosphere, this is it.
Not your typical cup of coffee. Vice and Virtue is a special experience. Their beans are aged in old bourbon barrels and that has a dramatic effect on the taste of their coffee. Are you drinking alcohol, no. Does the taste of espresso get covered up by the taste of bourbon, for me, yes. They made a great quality cup of coffee and the vibes make you feel like you're in a ritzy 1920's hotel lobby. For me, I love the taste of good espresso so this spot was not the best fit for my tastes but certainly worth a visit.
This coffee is OKAY. Nothing more. Slightly above Starbucks quality. The beans may be great, but I couldn’t really tell with how weak my drink was. If you want flavored drinks, this place would probably be wonderful. Service is a little annoying. I don’t need to take a little number on a metal stand and sit down in a velvet chair if I am simply taking a coffee to go. Let’s not overcomplicated things. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite, but not a fan of the system.
This coffee is fantastic. It’s best in the Hotel because these people know how to make it!!! Always love it. It’s an experience you shouldn’t miss!
Great coffee shop in the first floor of a boutique hotel one block from the National Civil Rights Museum. The lobby of the hotel is awesome, and the coffee was very good!
Giving it three stars since the service was just okay. Mocha and pastry was good. Staff behind the counter didn’t seem to be too interested in customers. More in themselves. Made a special trip here because of the reviews. Next time in town will probably skip it.
Amazing pastries and coffee! I got 2 of the hand pastries (I think that's what they were called) and they were both flaky and flavorful. The coffee is very good quality as well.
Good coffee and breakfast around Memphis downtown! Their bourbon mocha is something I would highly recommend.
I recently enjoyed the sweet potato pie chai latte and then the next day a sweet potato pie latte. Both were a perfect way to start my day! The atmosphere of shop is so cozy and warm. Definitely will come back!

Beautifully crafted coffee and pastries so good you will struggle to stop eating. Located in the bottom of the Arrive hotel with seating outside too.
Delicious coffee drinks. We ordered the mocha, cappuccino, and Thai latte and bought whole bean coffee to make drinks at home.
Awesome place!!! Very unique with a super chill vibe. I stopped while driving through and am so happy I did!! The service was very friendly and excited to share about the local places to check out. It is in a beautiful part of town, right near the river. Totally dig it and will be sure to stop again.
