Amazing coffee, friendly baristas, and of course I adore the atmosphere and the ethical coffee chain! A place for people to hang an enjoy great coffee
Good coffee. Many coffee concoctions thatvere new to me. I had a pancake latte. Multiple waves of taste. Nice atmosphere. The barista, Bruchard, is very engaging. A great placr!
Nice place, creative atmosphere for ☕️ and 😎, meditation.
I visited this shop today with enthusiasm because I'm a real coffee lover. It did not disappoint: coffee aroma, coffee paraphernalia, photos, stories, etc. I purchased 2 bags of different coffees...ahhh, the fragrance!!!
I’ve never been in a coffee shop that cares so much about every step of the process, from the farmers to the people working at the port and the level of care they dedicate to the community shows. What a wonderful establishment, and the brew tastes immaculately
We visited here from Chicago because I follow the coffee shop on social media. It's such a gem! The gold brew is amazing! Make sure you try it. Our Barista was wonderful and informed us about how the shop came about, the All Black Coffee Supply Chain and it was a beautifully Black experience about delicious coffee. I purchased a bag of coffee and was able to have it grinded for use in my Keurig. I look forward to having AGCC as a regular part of my coffee routine. Very Black, Very Beautiful, Very Delicious. ❤️🖤💚
Great atmosphere but i wish the coffee was as good
The coffee was so good and the staff was so helpful.
Really Great Place, Coffee of African Origins, Great Customer Service and Customer Care, Coffee Prices Reasonable, Merchandise a bit on the pricey side, Minority owned and operated, a definite break from the commercial chains, a place Definitely worth dropping in and trying out their Custom Coffee Drinks, and Definitely buy a Bag to brew at home, either whole beans or ground you can't go wrong.
My favorite coffee shop is closed on Mondays, so I googled the next closest shop and this place popped up. I stopped wanting to try a matcha latte for the first time, but they don’t sell them. Regardless, Bryshard was absolutely friendly and a joy to chat with. I ordered a black spice latte with oat milk as he suggested. It is absolutely delicious. I’m more of a light and sweet coffee person, but the quality of the coffee with the activated charcoal and oat milk makes me not care that it isn’t sweet. This is an absolute game changer for me in watching my calories and sugar intake. The shop itself is quaint and homey, the indoor/outdoor seating, dripping in black art. My new stop for coffee. Thanks for the experience! Well done❤️
Excellent coffee. Maybe better than the coffee place in downtown Birmingham alongside the Westin. That’s was my favorite. It’s near the Tesla supercharger. This Coffee Black has a fresh roasted aroma and flavor
Couldn't ask for a better cup of brew and better conversation and company. This friendly shop is an oasis filled with neighbors. I love discussing coffee with the well versed barista. It's a curated experience and laid back enough for my preschoer!
Very Friendly environment. Black Owned and Operated
The best cortado I've had in my life, real talk.
Greattt vibes. Breshard was awesome. The coffee was phenomenal. We visited from Denver for a wedding and this was the only stop on our list. We’ll be back in town just for the shop. My husband is coffee obsessed and this changed the game for him. It felt like coming back, right away felt like home. I’d give 20 starts if I could. Thanks for this space. And you know, a Denver shop would be kinda fye 👀
This place is not just a coffee shop--it's an experience. Patrons are encouraged to have a discussion about the process the shop uses to source the beans from Ethiopia and how to slow down and enjoy the coffee, rather than grab it and go in a hurry while you slurp it down. Barista KD was on hand during my visit to share information, answer my questions and even give me a preview of a new batch of beans releasing soon. KD did a pour over for me that was GREAT! The space itself is great--with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a quiet, homey, welcoming space that I would feel comfortable sitting in for an extended work or relaxation spell, or even a place to take a more casual meeting. Take an hour to experience this shop just off of famous Summer Avenue.
Nice coffee
