Great corner coffee spot. Good coffee and pastries right in downtown at a good price.
Local favorite destination.
Who knew the food would be so tasty? Simple but delicious breakfast options. The coffee is amazing. It's definitely a vibe.
Food, coffee and ambiance was good. I debated between leaving 3 or 4 stars. I ordered the Santa Fe Burrito and asked for avocado which was $1 extra. I got about halfway through the burrito and had not seen any avocado. I went up to ask about it and the cook had a bit of an attitude. She said, “it’s there”. Then I was asked if I had opened the burrito because it could be at the bottom of the burrito. Sure enough, I had maybe a tablespoon worth of avocado spread in the last bite. Overall the burrito tasted good. Did not appreciate paying a $1 for barely any avocado and getting an attitude about it. I also had the hummingbird coffee which was also delicious. A bit on the sweet side so maybe ask for less honey if you want something less sweet
The staff was friendly, and the food and drinks were fantastic!
Absolute fire. Food bomb, coffee bomb, atmosphere is definitely a vibe. Come check this out.
Delicious coffee, food that never disappoints, and a very chill atmosphere. I got the John Wayne coffee and a chicken burrito and it was fantastic. My order came out in only 5 minutes
Pleasant atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. John Wayne espresso shooter and a danish were both a couple of cuts above chain places. Will probably return once more on this conference trip.
Super cute place. Quiet, with great food and coffee.
The Delta Eagle drink was delicious! Also this place had an SNES and NES!
Excellent coffee and food. Good service. Love that they give you a preheated coffee mug with a pour over coffee.
Espresso shooters are a good idea, in concept. The "Presley" shooter I got was a bit of a letdown. The "banana" was just a garnish to a mix of 2 parts coffee and 3 parts cream. I expected a banana-flavored coffee, at the very least, but in the end just got tan cream. (With a bit of banana to enjoy on top!) The El Guapo Avocado toast, to me at least, tasted very weird. The Vietnamese Sriracha and Greek Feta makes the Mexican toast thing less of a globetrotting experience and more an unsavoury one. It tastes good with some Louisiana sauce on it, though. (A bit like a Fuzzy's taco, if you know what that is.) The location is very nice, with old game consoles, board games, and an overall nice, casual, urban feel. I didn't try any of the "real" drinks, so I can't speak to the merits of those, however I will say that this is a nice place to stretch your legs after a long day of walking in Memphis. Maybe just don't do shots.
Super tasty drinks and food, awesome service ☺️
One of the best coffee shops in the downtown area, puts the chain store to shame
Was one of the best breakfast places I’ve been to, has great coffee and the food is to die for. Also they move through the lines pretty quick we had a group of six and got our food very fast. 10/10 am definitely going if I ever come back to visit Memphis.
The Tamp and Tap is a half block away from the Peabody Hotel. I came for a morning coffee. I had the Açaí Bowl which was good. I had the Delta Eagle coffee drink with oat milk. It was fantastic!! It was dark chocolate with raspberry. Perfect combination on an unusually cold morning. The staff was very nice. Great spot!!
A nice quiet place to get some work done while having breakfast. From the name, I thought it was a beer pub but it's not. Burrito was very very good so I'll definitely be back to try other things.
Amazing burrito and hot chocolate!
Was thrilled to be able to find a salad in this town and a great cup of coffee to go with it. Cool staff, solid vibe, great spot.
