Great food if you don't mind waiting an hour for a bagel after already waiting 20 minutes in line.
Your business hours say 7am to 2pm. It's passed 7am and the business is still closed. This place should have been open and ready to receive customers. Whats the issue? Additional: After reading so many negative reviews of customers having the same issues as today, and also seeing how you've refused to rectify the negative behaviors of personnel and you've refused to address the possible staffing issue, I believe it's best if you just shut the store down.
Very poor management. I came on a Sunday morning and it took 40 minutes to get my sandwich. Very disappointed. They need a manager who can set some order and help improve the flow especially on a Sunday morning when there are not too many options to grab breakfast here in the south.
The way this place is ran just does not make any sense, they don’t tell you how it will take to get your order ready, and you end up waiting for 35 minutes just get one bagel, the management net to run this place more efficiently,
I placed an online order from the app which stated that this location opened at 7am and my order would be ready in 15-20 mins. I was charged for the order. I arrived at 7:30 and it was closed. There were other customers pulled up who also looked confused. I went back at 8:20am just to check and they were still closed with no signs of opening.
People are very nice, Breakfast sandwichs are awesome 👍🏾😎
Great staff, tasty food.
The cashier was very kind and was able to make good suggestions. The caramel machiattos are very sweet. And the bagels are decent with a good variety.
Manager refused to warm up 6 bagels for 3 of us we paid over $25. He said he's short of labor because of covid (playing covid game in 2023)and it would cost a lot of time and labor to just warm up the bagels.
Yummi! Big selection of bagels. The avocado bagel could have been a bit more seasoned but all in all good food and service!
turn your app off from receiving orders if you are going to close 2 hours early
Nice atmosphere and good danish.
Nothing sorry about the location or service. It was more like a fast food experience. No greetings when we arrived. Cashier didn't say much but asked if they could take our order. When the food was done, they placed the bag on the counter, called my name and walked away. Food was decent but tasted warmed up versus freshly made.
Best bagels around. My 100 year old mother and myself drive from Jackson Tn just to get their bagels.
My Son treated me here. I don't like Bagel, but I order the season flavor with the bacon and cheese and eggs, and it was actually pretty good. Got to go back.
Picked up bagels for breakfast meeting . They were ice cold and not very good .
This place needs to decide if it wants to stay in business or not. The bagels are good, but it is never open during standard times. For years my daughter and I would go here on Saturday mornings. However Many times in the last year, We have gone to the location and it was not open during normal breakfast hours. It always says staffing issues. I understand COVID staffing problems, but ultimately if you can’t consistently be open, then close. What is a greater frustration is their app will tell you it’s open and encourage you to order online. I placed an order to pick up and it was closed. Didn’t get money back
Every time I get a to go order from there they mess it up. It’s either not ready or completely wrong. They lock the doors half the time they are open and nobody seems to know what they are doing. It might be the worst managed restaurant in Memphis. It’s a shame because the food is delicious. Unfortunately I have been burned too many times and will not be going back.
As someone who frequented Einstein’s a minimum of once a week in Knoxville, I cannot begin to describe my disdain for this store. Poor management, poor customer interaction, poor food quality. Then today, the straw that broke the camels back, I place a mobile order, which was accepted with no issue, I arrive to the store and it is closed. Tue only item indicating a reason for this closure is a piece of paper stating the store will be closed from 7:30-7:45. It is 9:45 now, so I truly don’t understand the poor planning and the lack of concern for the customers. As someone who ran a restaurant for 15 years, I feel comfortable saying that management in this store is failing and tarnishing the name of Einstein’s. I can promise, as long as I live in Memphis, I will be giving all my business to Panera.
Another morning, another delayed opening. Sad to see. I had come the last couple Saturdays and they had been giving great service. Just can’t quite get it together.
