Just had a life changing bacon egg and cheese on a homemade cheddar bagel. Changed my life y’all. I will be dreaming of this until we come back to Memphis again.

I felt that the baked goods leave a lot to be desired. The blueberry muffin was kind of dry and was overall not tasty. The chocolate croissant was not a croissant. More just like dough with chocolate. Service was speedy.

This little coffee shop on Cooper use to be THE spot. The past two visits have been extremely disappointing. One disappointed visit they were randomly closed, with no sign or explanation even when tried calling. The second visit today I got off work excited to get a biscuit on the way home and when I arrived at 12:25 they said their kitchen was closed for the day when they close at 1pm…..I called the other location in Downtown and they went out of their way to take my order over the phone and absolutely made my day. Overall disappointed with the employees at the Cooper location and the vibes lately. i normally dont go out of my way to write a review, but with this last visit and encounter I felt a strong urge.

We have come here before but this visit was not great at all. We ordered a chocolate chip muffin, Nutella pop tart and a slice of pumpkin bread. All were crumbly and dry. We threw most of them out. We ordered two coffees, nothing to rave about. Sad to say we won’t be back.

We were visiting Memphis from Dallas and looked up some coffee places nearby and this shop came up. Lovely people and wonderful customer service. My only regret was not getting some of those cookies..

Had heard great things about Bluff City Coffee, but sadly was disappointed. Maybe their main location is better, but this location didn't seem clean and coffee was subpar. Service also struggled. Staff was polite, but not friendly and didn't interact more than necessary... felt like a case of bare minimum service. A guy even came in while we were waiting and they just sent him away because he had accidentally ordered to the wrong location. Great opportunity to go the extra mile but instead acting more like it wasn't their problem.

Unfriendly environment chosen by owner. No wifi in this coffee shop. 2-3 small uncomfortable tables along the walls. Though the staff is friendly and welcoming, the vibe says “don’t linger.” Consider for take out only.

First visited the Main Street location last year. Fell in love with the strawberry cake and they made a great chai tea latte. Visited midtown and they have changed their cakes. They said the cakes are the same just smaller servings. I ordered the strawberry bundt and the key lime olive cake. They were both awful! My americano was so weak. All of it went into the trash so it was a waste of money.

I got an iced white mocha & a raspberry pop tart. The coffee is not my favorite. Maybe it’s just the kind of coffee that I don’t like. Not saying the coffee isn’t well made. The raspberry pop tart (warmed) was extremely good!

I'd do 0 stars because they are always closed when their hours state they should be open. Today was my third (and last) attempt at going and they are still closed.

Coffee is on point, atmosphere is welcoming, clean, etc.. I had an egg, cheese & sausage biscuit which tasted a bit too much like the inside of a refrigerator. I could only imagine the components were cooked a day (or so) ago and assembled for my order. I’ll stick to their coffee and pastries, their house made pop tarts looked amazing.

Coffee is great! I love their breakfast sandwiches and croissants. However, the atmosphere is a little off putting. Instead of greeting people the baristas will just stare at you with blank expressions and then ignore you until they are finished making drinks, sitting in the back, or whatever. They do not seem like the friendliest people. Really missing the mark customer service wise. I recommend Otherlands or Java for good coffee and great service.

Coffee is a Starbucks quality but not as strong in taste. However they will add as much espresso as you wish. I have not eaten their pastries. But, the breakfast sandwiches are excellent! Probably the best breakfast sandwiches in a 2 mile area. The sausage egg and cheese is stuffed with 2 sausage patties not one. Compared to a McDonald's breakfast, I would prefer bluff city breakfast sandwiches.

I make my fiancé get us coffee from here every day! He got me the wrong size coffee and they made another for free :) also, food is great and I always get a sugar free raspberry latte. 12/10

Coffee is hit or miss depending on who's working. Hours are limited. They have me hooked with their breakfast biscuits and pastries, though.

I stopped by this place to grab some quick breakfast, little later in the day. I grabbed a coffee, a cup of mocha to be precise. I ordered a chicken biscuit with cheddar and garlic biscuit and a croissant and a breakfast muffin. I took out the food and came home to resume my work ( from home). The coffee was very basic, nothing fancy. The chicken biscuit was decent. The specialised biscuit with cheddar and garlic didn’t leave any fancy trace on my taste buds. I could not find any extra flavour or aroma. It was rather dry and came out pieces when I was trying to eat the sandwich. The morning breakfast was a typical one, although I never expected coconut in it. They never mentioned and I don’t like coconut in my cakes/ muffins. I asked for the chocolate croissant, and after coming home I realised that it was the croissant with feta! It was a sheer mistake from their side. I understand, it happens! I don’t eat feta, so eventually I had to throw it. Overall, the place looks nice and clean. The staff was nice.
