Very yummy food; I got to enjoy the Cuban sandwich, the acidity of the mustard complimented the sweetness of the pickles.
Ordered the quiche, baked potato soup, grilled cheese, and tomato soup. Quiche was absolutely delicious. Flaky crust with warm bacon and cheesy inside. Tomato soup was a bit on the peppery side but overall good spot downtown
The spinach quiche was really good, the BLT and chicken sald was great! Moms tomato soup was good too and the service was nice a friendly. Great place. Will be back..

Went for soup, and they were out of all flavors, so I had a sandwich
seated quickly for lunch on a friday. hot sandwiches and soup, and a fantastic tomato pie quiche. reminds me of a local “panera” style location and the servers were very nice. the menu has too much bacon all around but just be mindful of that!
Best cakes I've ever had. And I've had a lot of cakes.
Eclectic atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, portion sizes good, reasonable prices, smoked turkey BLT was only average, and tomato basil soup was a 7 out of 10.
Looking for coffee while passing through town and saw the name which reminded me of my grandmother. I had an iced coffee which hit the spot! I also picked up some locally roasted bourbon pecan coffee beans to take home. I wished I hadn't had lunch already because the menu and the food coming out of the kitchen looked high quality and delicious! I'm going to make it a point to eat here next time. Downtown Kingsport is awesome!
We waited 20 minutes for a person to ask us what we wanted to drink, even though there were only two other patrons in the cafe with us. While finishing my food, I was not so delighted to hear a female member of the staff start talking about news she heard regarding a persons dead body found rotting in a basement, and puppies being found dead in a trash bag, how appetizing. I am disappointed and I will likely not return to this establishment. The food was sub-par.

The chili was really good, so was my Micah Smash, they messed up on my son's sandwich but he also liked the chili.

It was delicious definitely recommend fir a small meal or small get together. Very cheap.

My family and I absolutely love The Mustard Seed! We always receive great service and the food amazing! I have a go-to, myself. It is the Veggie Reuben with a side Caesar Salad. I tend to go for the Dirty Chais, too! Always a delightful experience - so cute and quaint. Thank you for always taking care of our family on Mondays! :)

This Place Is Amazing I had the Grill Chicken Asiago Sandwich and it was Perfect and full of Flavor and my server was also amazing unfortunately I forgot her name but she was so sweet ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Would definitely recommend
Really really good food, and hot beverages. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, didn't skip a beat (short dirty blonde hair, wore a plaid shirt). The vibe is really chic and adorable. I have nothing bad to say about The Mustard Seed.
