Being raised in NY and traveled around the country as well as Israel....I know and love bagels. Moved here a few months ago and have tried Wheelers bagels (which are better by far)...we waited for the right day and made our way over to the Exchange yesterday. With all the ppl waiting in line you wld think it was far above everyone 's elses bagels but it was a mistake to go. We spent 45$ on a bakers dozen bagels with 2 large cream cheeses. Watched them steam the bagels...ok...I have only experienced boiled ones...but they were not steamed very long. And because they were soft and mushy....they were not baked long enough either. And they were very thin and squishy. There was a hint of bagel texture but that was it. Now...the sour cream....they do not use real cream cheese....they use a cream cheese spread which has an oiler shiny surface and lacks any flavor. Every member of my family jumped at the chance to have real bagels and tho we prepared for everyone to have 2 each...we were throwing away most of the first bagels because they simply tasted awful. So between the poor quality of the bagel, the cream cheese (??) And ultimately the price... WE WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. It was a huge disappointment. Too bad cuz the menu looked sensational. But nothing else measured up

I have to say that these are truly the best bagels outside of NYC! We are bagel people and I am thrilled to say that these are legit! If you have never tried their bagels, you need to run, not walk over here to buy some. My son in law, who frequents NYC, thinks these are even better than the ones in NY. I believe that they are very good.

Great service, beautiful and wide variety of bagels. You can have it prepared however you like for breakfast. I had bacon, swiss and tomato on pumpernickel and it was delish. The dark roast coffee was very good.

This place is a joke. It’s always closed and only opened 2-3 days a week. Not to mention they’re always changing their days. Plenty of other place i guess to get bagels. Plus their staff doesn’t seem too friendly.

Have to update my review. This place still has great food and have nothing bad to stay about it. Having said that, this morning I was charged $1.99 for a styrofoam cup of ice water. Maybe my expectations are a bit high. I questioned an employee about it and he took me to the register and pointed out the option for a cup of ice water. I know times are tough, next time I will bring my own cup.

Ordered online and site said order would be ready in 12 minutes... Order actually took 40mins, but would still recommend ordering online to expidite a to-go orders. The patrons were lined out the door. The sandwiches were very good, though two of our five were made with the wrong bagel (they basically used the special order for the wrong sandwich). Still, very good sandwiches and bagels, especially for the cost.
