Adorable coffee shop with beautiful art. The employees were very friendly. The croissant and coffee were great. Nice little stop on the artisan trail.

Our family always searches for the best coffee shops while on vacation and Painted Bear did not disappoint! The coffee, food, staff, and overall atmosphere is amazing! Highly recommend if you are on the hunt for good coffee.

The woman who was working barista was so welcoming and helpful, she explained the area and all the small businesses in the area. We got a laté and a lavender london fog— best London fog I’ve ever had. Cinnamon roll and peach danish were super tasty. We also spotted a cute calico cat resting outside! I definitely recommend stopping her from some coffee and a pastry, if your lucky possibly even a cat sighting!

Had a wonderful experience today at Painted Bear Coffee. They were incredibly friendly, and my iced latte was delicious! Highly recommend stopping by here for coffee. I adore smaller places like this that you can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

What a lovely spot! The owner was so nice and made an exceptional latte. We met the shop’s cat, Honey, and she lives up to her name :) great choices on drinks, eats, and the owner has some really beautiful things for sale (not to mention his own incredible art!). This is a hidden gem and I wish we had found it sooner on our trip. We will definitely come back!

Found this place by chance on our way home and I am so glad I did! They have a nice variety of flavored coffee’s hot or cold. I had the tiramisu ice latte and it was AMAZING! It tasted just like tiramisu with just the right flavor. I will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Sweet little spot! Good pastries, coffee, and service. It’s one of the only locally-owned places in the area without intense religious or gun theming…big fan of it!

Our barista took the extra time to recommend some cool local shops and experiences and restaurants and that was just a really nice thing for her to do. She seemed genuinely excited to share some things and we left with delicious coffee and some things on our plate to check out.

absolutely incredible coffee that starts the new standard of coffee for me. The only complaint is that they need larger sizes so I can have more!

Loved the chat with the Barista and getting to talk with one of the owners as well. Real down to life people who served us up quick but with quality. The coffee was strong like I like and our pastries were delicious. Look forward to coming back when the Loop of different artist and crafts and things are open.

This is a nice little place a bit out of the way from Gatlinburg. They serve primarily coffee and some pastries. The pastries were delicious and either fresh baked by the shop or obtained from a quality bakery. There are no indoor seats (likely due to the lack of public bathroom), but there is a nice outdoor seating area. The service was very nice and friendly. We ordered a hot drip and an iced coffee. The hot coffee was good, but the iced coffee wasn't great. It tasted a bit old/burned, but it was definitely still palatable. We were in a rush, so I didn't ask for something else but I'm sure they likely would have replaced it if asked. The prices were very reasonable for the area, and we'd probably give it another shot if in the area.

Great local coffee place to grab a nice drink. Very friendly atmosphere with a good variety of coffee. There's also a friendly cat that likes to hang out by the front porch. It's right next to a handful of other little craft shops so it's very convenient to grab a drink a check out the other stores.

What an amazing place! Dawn was so kind, I love that she calls herself the bear-Ista 😊. The owners Daniel and Alicia greeted us and made us feel so welcome…We loved the atmosphere and Daniel’s beautiful art displayed on the walls. The pastries are beyond temptation and of course the coffee is Incredible!!

Quaint little coffee shop in the arts and crafts area. Local art and trinkets. A friendly cat- who may have just been hanging out. The coffee is really good as well as the select pastries. Go check it out! I did wish there were places to sit down inside and get warmed up.
