This place is incredible! Great location to just pop in for an elephant ear! We had the cinnamon sugar with maple on it. One of the best combinations ever! The butter and cinnamon sugar make a paste, then the maple joins in and creates a delicious gooey topping that compliments the crispy yet soft elephant ear perfectly!
I don’t understand why people have left bad reviews on this place. They are leaving reviews and they didn’t even eat here or have an experience here. I went in yesterday and the Owner / GM was there with a couple of brand new staff members. He said that finding people to work has been almost impossible, which is why he works there every day now (except for winter hours). I ordered the classic size with double sided cinnamon and sugar and whip cream. It was crispy and soft at the same time, delicious option for while you’re down here in Seaside. We also ordered a chocolate and maple. We also ordered a couple of their Italian sodas and they were amazing. They asked us if we wanted real milk, half and half, whipping cream or a dairy alternative. Which was nice to know they have those options. Plus they have like 20 flavors for the Italian sodas. I think its super sad that this place has had bad reviews recently, It is hard to find decent people right now and I think its really selfish to leave a bad review for a place you haven’t been to. Petty, that’s what it is. Like one review I read had pictures attached that aren’t even from the current store. They showed an old menu, and a bunch of things that they don’t even have anymore… Seriously Karen….. Anyway, this place is amazing, wonderful service, and really awesome options. This is a MUST EAT!
Who doesn’t love an elephant ear. This place is fantastic. New management has really increased the attention to detail, the service, the quality of the food. The staff are brilliant and friendly, they really seem to enjoy their work. I can’t wait to visit next time I’m here in town.
Amazing. Elephant ears seaside. Delicious, a tradition. Without question, the best dessert place on the coast. Their hours vary, sometimes they aren’t open. So get one when you can. Just outstanding.
I have to say that Elephant Ears is one of the most amazing places in Seaside. I've been coming to this fantastic and delicious spot since j was a kid. I remember my mom and dad bringing me here every spring break, and it has never been a disappointment. For example, the staff today, Kristin, I think, and an older guy. They were working so hard, with such an excellent and friendly attitude. Plus, they were so kind and accommodating. The owners changed the menu since I was younger, but now it's more like a “pick your own topping” place. Kristin recommended we get the lemon juice, butter, and powdered sugar topping with Nutella and strawberries. We usually always get the classic cinnamon and sugar. But this... On my Lawd!!!!! Amazing! Crispy, fluffy, like a deep-fried German pancake. We have officially changed our standard order. This place is a MUST try! Delicious!
Absolutely love coming to this place everytime I come to seaside I freaking love the customer service they’re very funny and outgoing! The elephant ears never disappoint if you go to seaside pls pls pls try them out and show some love! They are amazing people with great food 10/10🤍.
poor hygiene they touch money and food and do not wash their hands I would not buy here again
Everytime I come to seaside this is all I want but it's never open. How are they supposed to make money when they are always closed. :/ It's a wonder why they have issues with everything...
Why is this place rarely open during the hours it should be open? We've been at Seaside since Thursday night and it was only open for a couple hours on Saturday and a couple hours on Sunday. Also, when they were open, there was not anyone there for hours at a time and when there was someone there, the manager Joe was extremely rude. They left everything out in the open, including the tips, when they didn't have anyone at the front.
We were waiting inline to order today with 4 other customers, the cashier took 1 order then told the rest of us he was closing for 30mins. Only seen this place one for 10mins in the last 3 days we have been down.
I have been at the beach most of the last 2 weeks and they have been closed every day. Not sure if they've gone out of business or what but it's upsetting to see they're not here seemingly.
FINAL UPDATE: Sept. 23, 2022 - I recently heard from Sean (on 9/18), one of the owners and General manager at We're All Ears. It was a very positive interaction as he explained some of their challenges and policy changes since Covid hit and also told me he did not receive my email. (Oh, cyberspace...!), Anyway, I now feel much better about We're All Ears and look forward to our next trip to Seaside so the whole fam can indulge in the greasy, sweet, gooey, goodness of an elephant ear! Thank you, Sean! UPDATE to review from Aug. 9, 2022. So it's been 30+ days since my review and Sean (GM and owner) responded. I sent an email to Sean immediately upon reading his response to my review, explaining again that I was not offered to pay for an extra topping when I ordered the Ear Wax and clarifying a couple of the points he made. I told him I'd be happy to change my review if he wanted to make good on a free elephant ear for us on our next visit. For whatever reason I have not received a response to my email. So far now, the review goes south one star, from 2 to 1. I will update again if there is a positive response from Sean. As a family we absolutely love We're All Ears, delicious elephant ears in Seaside, OR. We've been coming to Seaside for over 15 years and almost never have left without at least one visit to our favorite dessert indulgence. We've watched prices go up from $4.95 (maybe $3.95?) to the current $6.95, but they're worth it, right? And the recent cost of goods bump, along with inflation and increased wages has affected everyone. Still worth it, until tonight. Two of my (now adult) children and I were ready to order, already anticipating the mouth-watering decadence we have grown to love. We placed our order and I added a 20% tip, just out of gratitude that we could still get our elephant ears. So they called out our order and it was not correct - or not as we expected. The Classic - cinnamon and sugar was, well, classic. It's actually 3 toppings because the
The elephant ears were good, we had the original cinnamon sugar. server must have been having a bad day tho, because service sucked.
delicious elephant ears. quick and friendly service.
I really enjoyed the razzleberry scone! Nice and hot and just right combination of soft and fluffy and crispy. Strange seating arrangement but over all, a cute place! Giving 3 stars for the customer service, as this place lacked interaction and friendly service.
Not worth it. Expensive, undercooked and soggy. Not at all what we were expecting. If you’ve had good elephant ears from a fair or elsewhere, you’ll be sorely disappointed coming here.
Great service and yummy! Eclair elephant ear was awesome!
It was a fun experience to have an elephant ear, but pretty pricey I think. We ended up sharing one instead of each buying one. There isn't enough seating and the tables weren't cleaned, so it wasn't the best dining in experience.
Yummy elephant ears with all kinds of delicious toppings to choose from. They were pretty busy when I visited, but had quick, efficient, and friendly service. The workers were super friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely look forward to stopping by again the next time I'm in town! Highly recommend!
Little bit of a wait but food was great will try again if in the area
