I’ve had Gelato in Florence, Italy where it originated. This place is as good as what I had in Italy and probably one of the best in the USA. I love chatting with the owner. He is really friendly and relaxed and his staff is always great. To top it off, they always have tons of great really interesting flavors that I’ve never seen anywhere else. My family and I look forward to stopping by every time we are in Seaside.
Sea Star Gelato produces delicious rich and creamy gelato. We tried fruity flavored gelato as well as chocolate and vanilla. All flavors we tried were incredible--rich flavors, creamy, not too sweet. This is a family run business with gelato they produce themselves, and the portions are generous. We came at an evening off-season, and the line was still out the door. They have many flavors to choose from, at reasonable prices. We very much recommend a stop by Sea Star Gelato if in Seaside.
Great local gelato offerings with many choices. Very busy so plan to stand in line. It is pricey.
One of the best ice cream you can get near Oregon coast!
The Blue Moon gelato here is heavenly. I hope to return to Seaside just so that I can eat this again.

Great selection of delicious dairy free and nut free gelato. The speckled raspberry was so creamy and delicious! It's a stop every time we come to the Seaside/Cannon beach area.
Delicious, generous scoops. Absolutely would go back. It was creamy, thick, and just like European gelato from all of the places we've been!
Enjoyed a treat from here in December 2022. It was delicious. They had many options to choose from. Plenty of free, street parking though I was there in the off season. Counter staff was attentive.
We stumbled upon this little gem of a place last night. I had never had gelato before and wow it was fantastic! Great service, very knowledgeable staff and very clean little shop. They had at least 20 different flavors on hand and I tried multiple tiny spoonful samples. I finally decided on a grapefruit and a berry that was heavenly. This is a must try while in Seaside. 💯
Delicious gelato and great price! Loved the old ceiling fans and the colorful shop. An experience for me and my toddler.

Best Gelato on the coast, if you see a line outside the door, dont worry it moves quickly.
I think this is the best gelato in Oregon 🥰 I love the coffee flavor, so delicious!!! They also have a ton of flavors that you can mix together. Love the vibes when we visit Seaside, OR 🌞
Ooh my goodness. This is the most amazing place in the world. They make all their own gelato and it literally melts in your mouth. My hubby and I love Astoria and seaside oregon. Everytime we go there we stop and get gelato. I had orange blood last time. Was great. Have different flavors all the time. It's very busy in the summertime. If want to avoid lines either go in spring or fall or winter. it's nice to walk on beach in fall or spring
Amazing place! Very affordable, unique dishes like a gelato panini and gelato spaghetti (which the kids LOVED), and super friendly staff! There was a huge line, but it went super fast. Highly recommend!
