This is the best coffee shop in all of Seaside. I love their eclectic employees and drinks. Try out their specials! Expand your horizons. They are drink magicians.

Fantastic LGBT+ friendly coffee shop right in downtown Seaside! The drinks were all excellent and the stickers and merchandise available was awesome! Go Brick and Logan for providing such a good and necessary contribution to seaside! Thank you! I 100% encourage Seaside residents and tourists alike to SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! 🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✊🪓

Great place! Very comfortable area, relaxed sort of setting. Drinks and food are really good, authentic tasting. I got a cinnamon cold brew and it’s my new favorite drink! Lots of cool little things you can buy like stickers, patches, ornaments, earrings… great stuff! Staff is amazing. Friendly, good suggestions for drinks! Feels nothing like talking to a robot like many chain coffee shops…. (I’m thinking about YOU, soul-sucking Starbucks 😐). If I lived close I’d DEFINITELY be a regular. If I could rate this place a million stars, I would 👌❤️

Really tasty coffee, and the decor is amazing. They serve local Sleepy Monk coffee and are very LGBTQ friendly. They promote local artists and have their art on display and for sale in the shop, such as this rainbow Christmas tree decorated with locally crafted felt vulvas. Need I say more?

Got a dirty chai with cardamom infused espresso and it was excellent. Grem was super nice. If you like nerdy stuff this is the shop for you! They have a bunch of funny skyrim and sailor moon random stuff there. They are dog friendly and give treats. Will definitely be back.

Staff are great, drinks are shiny in more ways than one, space is iconic. Start your day with a bang, or at least a mango habanero Red Bull smoothie and sausage egg croissant from these fine folks. Top it off with a new sticker, as a treat.

Controversial Coffee is a rare gem nestled in Seaside. The coffee and other drinks are genuinely phenomenal. The service is great, the baristas are super friendly and willing to customize basically anything! This is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ folks and the owners host seeing circles and other fun events! Definitely suggest stopping by if you're ever in town!

This is one of the highlights of my mornings. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and you can tell they care. The coffee and special drinks they have are so good. My only grief is that I can only give 5 stars.
