Old Town Coffee Roasters is a great place for coffee and pastries. The Barista was fantastic. I plan to stop there on my return trip to Florence.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Not only was the coffee I ordered terrible, but the owner was even worse. I normally do not leave reviews like this, but I find it necessary to leave this review for others. After reading some of the other reviews, I can see that I am not alone in my experience. Please support other businesses in the area. I ordered two pumpkin spice lattes with coconut milk. While ordering, the owner’s co-worker accidentally under charged me, and the owner condescendingly corrected the young girl about the $2 difference. After receiving my coffee, I thanked them, and happily left. However, I noticed the smell of the coffee was off, and my husband tasted his twice, and had to spit the coffee out both times. Anyone that drinks coconut milk knows how easily it can spoil. So, I thought no big deal, we will go back and let her know so no one else gets spoiled milk and ask for a new coffee. I walked in, notified the owner of the taste being off, and to my surprise she became extremely agitated and defensive of her “recently purchased coconut milk.” I explained to her that this has happened to me, it doesn’t take much for coconut milk to spoil. She began raising her voice and stated that it wasn’t her problem and she isn’t going to do anything about it. I responded by pointing out how rude and condescending her behavior was to me and to her co-worker, and because of this I would like a refund. She spitefully stated that she would not give me a refund, and I stated that I was not leaving without one. She continued to make a scene exclaiming, “I don’t see how this is my fault.” I repeatedly told her that I never blamed her, but that I did not want to pay for a coffee that I was not able to drink due to the bad taste. She finally refunded my money, and said, “don’t ever come back here again.” She has nothing to worry about as I will never support her business. My only regret was not giving the refunded money as a larger tip to the young girl w

Ok, so, we just had the best service and drinks by Kiana at this coffee shop. Definitely not expected for her to go above and beyond at the end of shift to make sure we had a great experience. We very much appreciated her services and well as the owner’s awesome sweets. Loved it!

Absolutely adorable little coffee shop. The lady who owns it really made it feel like grandmans home, it's so comfortable and inviting. She has many baked goods to chose from and a large drink menu too. I bought a iced latte and it was one of the best espressos I have had. I also purchased a peanut buttercup brownie that was delicious as well. This will definitely be my regular coffee when I am visiting here!

All of the rude owner reviews are accurate. I had purchased a coffee - and finished it - while using the wifi for some work on my laptop. Owner came in and loudly questioned the barista as to why the two people inside on laptops did not have drinks. Then went over and questioned myself and the other guest why we were using her wifi and had purchased a drink? (We both had from the previous shifts barista). The whole interaction was rude without any courtesy in tone or the approach. I get not wanting loitering or folks hanging out. But to interrogate your customers like that? Will not be returning.

Great coffee but what my wife and I liked the most was the great customer service from the gentleman that helped us. He was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations of places to go and see while we were traveling in the area.

Absolutely the best coffee in Florence! Came across it on our drive home and am so glad we popped in. The coffee was incredible and the apple strudel was so delicious! The customer service was also wonderful and loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to the coast.

Went in to get a coffee and asked for a pup cup for my dog. Gal working there asks “what’s that?” I explain that it’s just a cup with a little whip cream. She explains she’s never heard of that. Fair enough, it’s not a drive through (every coffee place I’ve ever been to is always happy to give me one and even pet my pup). Either way, she then asks what they usually charge for that. I tell her they do it for free. She tells me “ no way she’s doin’ that” and goes into a big dissertation about whipped cream prices etc. I was finally like “just forget it.” Normally I tip generously, especially at a small town business. Not for this rude rube. I am staying the whole week and will tell you where I Won’t be going for coffee- for me or my family. Oh and… average coffee, don’t bother.
