For the prices they charge you would think they would be serving better quality. Service is slow as well. There are WAY better coffee shops in Beaverton than this dump

I used to love Jim and Patty's. They've always been somewhat inconsistent since they move through employees quicker than your average Fast food restaurant. They've always been pretty slow but, I continue to go there because although they move through employees quickly I tend to like the people they hire. They also carry hemp milk which is hard to find. I purposely seek out small independent coffee shops who provide hemp milk. I frequent 3 coffee shops, Jim and Patty's, Piper's and Haven's. I've gone to Ki coffee a couple times but they're very pretentious... Not a fun experience. But Jim and Patty's keeps raising their prices and now they are $1 to $1.50 more than the other coffee shops I just mentioned! For the exact same drink! And they're still extremely inconsistent. Today's latte tasted like water down espresso with with maybe a tiny bit of hemp milk in it which cost me $7.50 plus tip! Now I'm going to leave my house again to go get coffee at Piper's where I can guarantee a delicious latte for only $6.50.

True local cafe/diner. Good food, good prices, and good baked goods too. Gluten free bread for sandwiches is among the better GF sandwich bread I've had too. Have a few vegan baked goods options as well.

I used to love this place but my favorite employee quit and she was replaced with a girl that today made me wait for my shake until every other drink ordered after mine was done and until she was done texting on her phone 🙄. Service has really gone downhill…

Haven’t tried the coffee yet but I certainly want to. I had a onion bagel sandwich it was sooooo good! You can tell the bagel was made fresh. Worth the wait. The place seemed a little dirty but the food is great! Will be returning.

If you like Starbucks and other disgustingly poor venues, you will absolutely love this place! Their coffee tastes like hot water with a heavy, horrible stain of new employee-ness! It’s like a liquid version of chomping on coffee beans, but even worse!

Portland-area classic with great baristas. Always worth it.

The venue is very cozy and has great food, but the back and bathroom seems a little dirty. I still go back all the time though!

I love that a form of Coffee People exists still. Awesome place to hold a meeting, you can tell the staff love their job.

What a fun little coffee and morning eats shop. I had a great Latte, breakfast sandwich of egg, cheese and tomato on a cheddar and herb biscuit that was Devine. I also had a couple bits of the sour cream coffee cake which was a little plain, but tasted good. I'll be back.

Great spot for a solid breakfast that comes about relatively quick once you are able to order. Sometimes the line and ordering process take a while. Our last visit was a bit disappointing though. While the line wasn't long, once it was our turn to order, the cashier informed us they were out of gravy for any of their breakfast items. That's like 1/3 of their menu. The cashier said they usually run out of gravy early. 🫤 This made for an awkward few minutes while I had to figure out what I wanted to order instead, while there was a line behind us. There two customer friendly ways to handle this. 1. Make more gravy. If you know that you regularly run out and aren't meeting customer demand, increase production. 2. If you aren't able to increase production, for whatever reason, let customers know before they are placing their order with a line building behind them. A simple sign placed in conspicuous places would save a lot of headache for customers and speed up the ordering process. Jim and Patty's is still a great place to go for a coffee and food, and we will come again. I'll just be prepared with a backup order from now on.

Ordered through door dash. Received 1/2 my order. Not the first time. I won’t be ordering through you again. Burned too many times.

I love the Memphis scramble. Just told maybe cancelled. It's a great place but I go here specific for the Memphis scramble. If they take that off menu I may need to find another place to eat 🥴🤔🤨

All I can say it wow! I’m working on supporting only local restaurants as the economy is hitting them hard. My goodness was this place a hit! The dancing goat was rich and delightful. The tea was freshly brewed and the biscuit was cooked to perfection. This will be my new brunch spot!

Still loving the service and choices here! Delish lemon/ginger/poppyseed scones. Good tea selection and wonderful baked goods. Especially like the hippie cookie. And try any of the pig newton sausage rolls.
