Insomnia is my go to when I want to treat myself to a great cappuccino.
My favorite place to get coffee in Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Delicious, well-made drinks from local roasters. Haven’t had a bad drink in 5+ years from any of their locations. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, happy, fun! The scene for all locations is eclectic and cool but not pretentious. Have enjoyed as a place to meet someone for coffee and chat or to work a bit. Always good. 🤙🏽❤️
This place is called INSOMNIA Coffee and closes at... 6 PM? This place closes earlier than the majority of the coffee shops around it. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is fine, but the hours are lame. I work nights, so not being able to grab a coffee before I go in is a shame.
Best house Chai ever! My absolute favorite!!
I absolutely love their house chai! All of the baristas are so nice, except one new girl. I would like to chat with the manager or owner about her.
Good coffee and bakery items. Nice seating areas.
Love Insomnia Coffee this location is quite busy- I came in Feb 8 around 9am I didn’t catch their name but they made the best ice vanilla latte. Coffee is a hit or miss with who makes it. It is either amazing or it taste like a cup of milk and ice. Try your drink before leaving might want to get it fix or buy a extra shot on the side.
Larger than I thought from viewing outside. Nice place. Good coffee and great cookies!
Great expresso shots and drinks. Chill environment!
Still one of our very favorite coffee spots!
I adore this coffee shop, and miss living right around the corner. It can get busy in there, but that's because they have a friendly staff and great food and beverage options. Honestly, the biscuits are some of the best I've ever had.
Great chill place with awesome tea!
Props to the superb Barista
Insomnia is my favorite coffee place in the PDX area. They have the yummiest chai, the Aztec mocha is delicious, and the bakery items are delicious. The baristas are so kind. I love coming to this place to just chill and draw.
As others have mentioned it is always too warm inside the shop. Fall and Winter it’s fine even if a little warm for me still but spring and Summer is unbearable. Coffee quality seems to ebb and flow with how busy they are. When there is no line the coffee can be great! When there is a line out the door however, despite waiting a long time (short staff most times), the coffee quality sometimes suffers. Flavored drinks taste flavorless or watered down. Would love to rate higher if things improve.
Indulgent would be the right word for my experience with Insomnia. The make a dirty chai that firmly steps into self reward territory with its balance of sweet to bitter espresso.
Rico te !
This place is my coffee, tea, & breakfast go-to. I love it & you'll love it. More specifically: - They've consistently had very friendly service. They make suggestions & ask questions. - My God, are their breakfast foods ROCKIN! (Best quiche ever & GF hand pies!) - Every drink I've gotten so far has been a home run. Just be sure to mention how sweet you'd like your drink if that tends to be a point of concern for you.
Super cute space; a+ on that. The people working on this Friday morning were chatting and didn't seem to care much about service or craftsmanship.
Terrible coffee. Would be better off at Starbucks or anywhere else.
