Had a great meatless Ruben and grilled cheese that we split. Very good! Very casual and comfy. Nice self serve napkins, to go box, water, and bus your table with ease. And it's also a bakery!

Exceptional across the board. One of the best bakeries / cafes in town.

The food was great. Heads up, no meat. But they have this non meat sausage that tastes great in their breakfast sandwich. I had my doubts, but was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you just have to give things a chance.

Bright, warm, friendly bakery and cafe to grab some fresh bread, coffee, or a bite to eat. Plenty of seating and big windows make it super comfortable for relaxing on a weekend morning or grabbing something quick to go. The savory croissant had a hint of mustard that was delicious!

Great place for breakfast in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Everything we have tried has been scrummy. Lotsa choices in the pastry case, hot breakfast choices, and HOT coffee!

The tempeh Reuben was so AMAZING that we went back twice during our weekend trip in Astoria. Thank you for providing such delicious meals, Blue Scorcher!

Food was good last time we were here. Says it opens at 7, so we showed up but you can’t actually eat here till 8…and Google doesn’t note that for the restaurant.

It was so delicious that we didn’t want to finish our breakfast. So Flavorful, we order more toast we were able to tell they were fresh. I’ll be back whenever I visit Astoria again. 🥰

I had the 16oz Chai latte and a pastry which were both very tasty! This is a great spot for a family bakery/cafe. It fits the home-like feel of Astoria.

Every time we are in Astoria or Seaside we go to the Blue Scorcher for breakfast. The vegan tempeh reuben is delicious. Also, their fresh baked breads and treats are amazing. We had a white bean rosemary soup this visit that was also delicious. Vegan and vegetarian items are clearly marked on the menu. Overall, it's a great experience every time!

This place is a cute little bakery that has great breakfast. The vibe is super friendly and the food was great. We had the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast scramble. I would definitely recommend both to anyone staying in Astoria!

Came for coffee and to work remotely for the morning, and left with a loaf of sourdough! So good. My only complaint is that it was a bit chilly inside if you're staying for a while.

Always a good way to start the morning, BUT get there early! Fills up fast. So many amazing tasting treats. My favorite every time is the almighty BREAKFAST SANDWICH. There is no meat on this thing. Instead, you get an egg so expertly fried that you rejoice with each bite. It just tastes complete and perfect. Add a side of breakfast potatoes!
