When it comes to best customer service and we’ll made, tasted and temperature coffee, this is the cafe to go. Pete and his wife are the owners who can make your afternoon memorable and fulfilling. Highly recommended!
I loved the atmosphere of the whole place, received friendly service, and liked the presentation. I was so ready to love this place! Maybe I just ordered the wrong things, but I was incredibly disappointed in my order. My chai latte was bland, practically tasteless, and the cinnamon roll was hard, dry, and topped with way too sweet buttercream instead of icing. Big waste of money, especially the cinnamon roll!

Probably the best coffee I've ever tasted and the owner was so passionate about the blends they roast. Highly recommend this spot for a perfect cup!
Awesome place and awesome people. They make their own pastries and cakes— all gluten free. Roast their own coffee beans. Best drip I’ve had in a hot second, and you can see and taste the care put into each drink. You will not regret giving this new shop a visit.
If you find yourself in Astoria, don’t sleep on Sleeper! (Badum pssh) Best coffee for miles made by absolute *pros*
I’ve had an iced matcha and a latte from sleeper so far and they were both top notch delicious!!
Best damn cup of coffee I’ve ever had. It’s smooth and creamy and quite literally perfect. I usually take my coffee with sugar but it’s not at all necessary with Sleeper. They sell gluten free goodies that are also delightful and they are inside one of the coolest buildings in Astoria. Oh, and the owners are the best. Definitely stop by when you’re in Astoria!!
Following hail, snow, & rain I savored a gorgeous silky mocha while relaxing upon a svelte green sofa - Gazing out the window a sense of gratitude blanketed my being - The caffeine kicked in & I proceeded to work with a lingering flavor of perfection on my palate ~

Super friendly and highly knowledgeable! They knew exactly what I wanted when I described what I was looking for (poorly). They'll nerd out with you if you want, but if what you want is a venti caramel macchiato with oat milk, they won't make you feel bad for liking what you like
