Best ice cream and not too sweet which is an added health bonus.

Had a scoop of Dark Oreo and a scoop of Death by Chocolate ice cream, in a cup, at Cow Cafe. Huge scoops of ice cream. Less then prize of a Blizzard at Dairy Queen and a place to sit down and enjoy it. Sit inside or outside. Love this place!

Cute little ice cream shop that’s trying to be a restaurant. Unfortunately, they’re trying to do it on the cheap. There is a menu board, no servers, plastic utensils and paper popcorn dishes for your food. I really hate plastic ware and it distracts from the rest of my experience. The food was ok. It might be a place to get ice cream, but with their prices equal to other restaurants, I’ll take service and silver every time.

This is a wonderful ice cream shop and diner in the heart of New Bern. If you want a local experience of a shop that has been around for decades, this is it. There is also a play area in the back for toddlers that make it a perfect family friendly spot for dessert.

Outstanding ice cream but other food items we had were slightly above average. Nice atmosphere with a small play area in the back that our toddler enjoyed. Clean restrooms.

5 stars. Hot dogs were really good. Super busy but food came out at a reasonable rate. Prices fair and it's a cool little spot. PS: Try the Apple Pie-a-la-moo.... thank me later.

Cow Cafe is a one of a kind restaurant. Whenever we are in New Bern it is a must stop place for us. We live in Florida and the Cuban Cow is the best Cuban sandwich we have ever had. The ice cream is so creamy and indulgent. My husband always gets the Mooberry Mousse or Cowpuccino fudge. I try something new every time but the almond joy is my favorite. Cow Cafe is a true gem!

Everything changes, I get it. I haven't been at the cafe in at least 10 years. Decor, staff, quality everything down hill. Not what it used to be.

A short wait, under staffed. Excellent food and the staff that attended us.

Relaxing little cafe to sit at a sidewalk table, relax and watch the world go by. The salads are really good. Service seemed a bit slow, but who cares when you just want to relax for a bit?

Meatball sub was excellent. Wife had barbecue and loved it. Going back tomorrow for the hot dog. Very friendly staff and great service. Wanted to try the ice cream but too full.

Tried the cowdoozie sundae, I believe was the name? Made with their Gooey Cowphooie ice cream which was so good! Ice cream is made in house, excited to try more flavors!
