Our friends raved about The Spot, so we had to try it while visiting OBX. The ice cream was cold and creamy, service was friendly enough, and the atmosphere was fun. We liked looking at all the artwork for sale by local artists.
Please update your working days and hours, we came on Monday 5/22 at 4:40pm and it was closed even though it was showing open on Google

Not many food options available, which, although it was disappointing, was completely understand upon finding out it was specifically due to that day being their last operating day of the year. However, what choices were available were great, fast, and along with the service, made for a nice lunch! And as always you literally cannot beat the ocean views and salty breeze the on beach location provides!
We stopped at The Spot on impulse knowing nothing about this ice cream business. It was VERY good with a very friendly and outgoing staff. They don't do "sample tasting" of their flavors but that's a small thing. Everything our group ordered was delicious.
Went in vacation in Corolla, and stopped by this place. Absolutely delicious 💯😋 Got the smoothie called Blue Barrels. Blueberries, banana, almond milk and peanut butter. The fact that they don't put any sugar in any of the smoothies, is better. Let the ingredients shine! ☀️
My daily spot. Acia bowls are best on east coast. No questions.
They really don't have gluten free options, the only way you can get a gluten free option is if you create your own bowl. But overall the taste of it was very good.
