I ordered a mocha for here. It came in a coffee mug, with no latte art, and hot enough to melt your face off, probably torching the milk in the process. Along with that, they tell every customer to be gone in 90 minutes. For how busy this place is, I’m a bit surprised the coffee isn’t better. I’ll probably find myself continuing to get coffee about 300 feet away.

People waiting outside on a chilly Saturday morning for 0800 opening is an indication. They opened right on time and their service was timely, friendly, and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Hubs and I stopped in on a Saturday while visiting the farmers market. Taste Full Beans is apparently one of the few places that actually has heavy cream as an option instead of half and half or milk which is great since I'm on keto. Ordered a triple shot with heavy cream and that's exactly what I got. 5 stars, no complaints. Also ordered their lemon poppy seed muffin for my husband. The flavor was fine but it was kinda dry (edible but dry). He also enjoyed a sugar-free brown sugar cinnamon iced latte which was phenomenal!

My 4 year old son and I go here often in the mornings. They are always very kind and inviting, remember our names and entertain his stories and questions. He calls this place "his ice-cream shop". I get coffee and sometimes food. We start our days at 5am usually so about 9am he gets ice-cream for a snack as he makes his round to his 6 or so stops to see his friends at the local shops and the banks on his bicycle. He especially likes Beth and Jeff.

It’s not just coffee…… I’ve enjoyed several delicious meals here and usually like to get the quiche (the bacon and onion is especially good). But now that I’ve been adopting a plant-based diet, I found myself reaching out of my comfort zone and today tried the vegan Bali Bowl. While it may look like just a pretty assortment of veggies, it is brought together by a delicious dressing and WOW IS IT GOOD! I like coming here now especially because there are several vegan items on the menu to try in addition to all the delicious items that include meats and cheeses. It’s an ideal place for me to dine with friends.

Lovely eclectic coffee shop with local art and great coffee, pastries, and food. Lots of atmosphere. We stopped for lunch, and I had soup that was weirdly thick. The soup wasn't my favorite, but I love the place and recommend the coffee.

My husband and I stopped here on a trip to Asheville. I loved the atmosphere of the place. It felt very homey. We are avid tea drinkers and we wanted to try their loose leaf tea. He got the hazelnut orange and I got moon over Madagascar. Both were good! We also got some ounces of tea to take home with us. The price was awesome! I think for three ounces I paid 10-12 bucks? I have paid that for ONE ounce. If I'm ever in hickory again I'll be sure to stop by! Oh. They also have keto options for dessert! A little sweet for my taste but it was still good!

I love this place. Great coffee with a wonderful atmosphere and art from local artists while you work or just enjoy your drink. I went today and tried the fiesta quiche (black beans, cilantro, salsa, etc) because it sounded interesting, and it was genuinely the best quiche I've ever had in my life. The flavors were amazing, the salsa they put on top was very flavorful and had such a smooth texture. It took a little longer to make than normal (~15 mins), which I didn't mind at all, but they were very apologetic and gave me a free drink card for the wait just because! I would have waited an hour for that masterpiece of quiche and left a happy customer! All in all, one of the best coffee shops I've been to with wonderful food and drinks across the board.

Love the location and the main street feel. Teas, coffees, random snack items. Basically, it's a farmer's mkt feeling. Plentiful seating inside and out. And a fountain inside. Yes, inside. Extensive beverage menu from which I ordered an amaretto mocha. I'd have to try it again before having lunch, but it's a cool place overall.

Favorite coffee shop for locals in downtown Hickory. Tons of fun options to try or just a simple cup of coffee. Supports small businesses and artists.

I hesitate to give this review, as I am not a local and my experience was the first only experience with this shop. I understand that sometimes there is an off day or under-trained staff, etc. I was very excited to visit this shop for a snack and a quick coffee to go for my road trip. I went out of my way to enter the town to stop here because I had done some quick scanning before my journey and saw that the shop was highly rated and seemed to have many food items that spoke to me. When I stopped in, I took a look around and could not see any sign of the extensive food menu that I had viewed online. Maybe I did a poor job of looking, but I was in a rush to get back on the road and they were closing soon. Because the menu was not obvious, I just asked about the muffins. The employee mentioned she had not tried all the muffins and couldn't advise me, so I went with the Chai. I also ordered a medium latte for my journey. I cannot even express to you how disappointed I was to find that my coffee was probably the worst I had tasted in my life. It had a very strange taste. It was also WAY too hot, which I take as a sign of an inexperienced or poorly trained employee. I couldn't even power through the flavor for the sake of the caffeine for my drive. I threw it away after 2 very painful (b/c of taste) sips. And the muffin. was. awful. I was so hungry that I choked down half of it anyway, but the chai flavor was sharp, bitter, and unappealing. No, it's not that I can't handle spice or don't know what masala chai is supposed to taste like. I have tasted a variety of masala chai combinations and flavor profiles. This was just very poorly executed. Edit: I received a response from Taste Full Beans and they confirmed that my experience was likely a timing issue, as the employee was in training. I appreciate the speedy and earnest reply, and will give it another go when next I am on the road.

I work around the area and decided to explore the places I hadn’t been before. This place has a nice aesthetic but the staff were very unfriendly and impatient, customer service isn’t good at all. They made me very uncomfortable and I don’t think I’ll come back again. The layout of the place is also very inconvenient because you have to go all the way around and in between the line to leave. It’s really cramped.
