Coffee was good but.... I'm not crazy about picking your baby carrier up off the floor and placing it on the prep table behind the register.
The baked goods are scrumptious and the coffee is spot on! This place is located 2 minutes from my house and has certainly become a favorite stop on the way to work. It's kept very clean and the parking is generous. The staff is a bit quiet and it would be a little more welcoming if they had some light music or something to balance that. Hands down my favorite item so far is the coffee cake !

This is the place to go if you are looking for real deal, big city style pastries and coffee (who isn't?) Probably the best I've had in Asheville.
What a sweet little spot! Everything was delicious and so nice to have this great coffee within minutes of home. Planning to continue supporting this great addition to our community!
We are so lucky to have this new location near us! I work in South Asheville and there are no local coffee shops OTW to work, now we have Black Bear! Staff is always super friendly and their baked goods are amazing. I did wish they opened at 6:30-6:45, but they are already there so early. I drive by at 5am some days and they are already in there working hard to get things ready. It’s a must stop
Incredible place
Everything was delicious! We got the ham & cheese croissant, a plain croissant, a cappuccino, and a chai. Their croissants are made in house and they were amazing. Plenty of parking behind the building and cute tables to enjoy our treats.

Holy smokes! The ham & cheese croissant and lavender honey latte were SO good! Highly recommend checking out this new coffee shop. They have a great menu of drinks as well as a delicious offering of treats & pastries. At the moment there isn’t much for indoor seating but lots of great outdoor seating when the weather is nice, or just take it to go.
Fantastic little coffee shop in our neighborhood! Super pastries, muffins and croissants.
